23.01.2022 **** S P R I N G H A S S P R U N G **** I love the beginning of spring. Days are getting longer and warmer. And people just seem to be in a better mood when the weather is a little warmer. Spring is the perfect time to start to make positive changes in your life. Great time to start to exercise more and to eat better. ... Did you know that it takes on average 66 days to make a change of behaviour a habit. It sounds like a lot but with just a little bit of effort it can make the world of difference for your overall health. Exercising in winter is tough. It is cold and dark outside and when your alarm goes off it is SO easy to switch it off and stay in your nice warm bed. I was guilty of this a few times over winter. Well now is the time to change this habit. So for the month of September I am setting myself a challenge. I am going to do some form of exercise every day during September. It doesn’t have to be intense exercise, it could just be a long walk through the bush. But I am going to make sure I get out and get moving everyday. To help me along with this I am also going to have an alcohol free month. I don’t drink a lot but I do enjoy a cheeky wine on the weekend or in the evening. I will keep you posted on my daily exercise. She has worked with elite sporting teams including NSW Football, NSW Rugby League Competitions and Sydney University Football. Kaitlin enjoys helping people from early stage management to the performance stage of rehabilitation.... Kaitlin has developed a keen interest in Women’s Health Physio. This started when she was completing her Honours Project in Breast cancer related lymphoedema, for which she presented at the Australasian Lymphology Association Conference. She has a strong desire to help women overcome conditions of the pelvic floor. To compliment her practice, Kaitlin has received further training in Clinical Pilates and Acupuncture.
