25.01.2022 Had a great time making a few ‘man cave’ signs recently. Got a few more on the horizon and some beautiful pieces of wood to engrave them on! I even gave painting a little go on this one and it came up a treat! This sign was made for a genius bloke who cut an old steel bathtub in half and turned it into a pizza oven! Bathtub pizzas! Hell yeah! ... Now that is a true innovative change! #innovativechange #lasercutting #laserengraving #iwantapizza #pizzainthebath #livingthedream

25.01.2022 A beautiful ickle plant (a Peperomid apparently!) from @twine_foliage has just taken pride of place on my office desk I’m not very green fingered but @twine_foliage always get their tags through me and I really wanted a lovely piece of nature to cheer up my dreary, machine laden office, so who better to get one from! Classic example of local businesses helping each other out Thanks Kaylee, I absolutely love it and I promise I’ll take good care of it! I have named it Hope...... it felt fitting amazing how a small plant can change a room! #supportlocalandlocalwillsupportyou #twinefoliage #innovativechange

25.01.2022 Apparently it’s not considered good business practice to put something totally unrelated to what you do on social media... but it’s coronavirus so all the rules are out the window I reckon! The Middle Korumburra Hotel thanks for my Parma! Absolutely delicious! #supportlocal #supportmates

24.01.2022 Finally I can share a few of my Christmas makes Over the 12 days of Christmas I’ll be posting some of my favs and also letting you know exactly what Innovative Change is about and what we’ve managed to achieve in 2020 As people who know me will know, I’m a bit of a proud geek so I thought I’d start with something geeky ... I was pretty giddy when I got the specs for this beauty and it was made without the use of a magic wand #youreawizardharry #youreageekDanny

24.01.2022 Well it’s good to be back making my thing-a-me-giggies and what-do-ya-calls-it’s! And boy was it nice to do a few cake toppers this week! For two reasons! - 1. I love making them and 2. People can finally celebrate a tad of freedom and have (restricted ) parties! Oh and lucky me, @partyplanetleongatha is now kindly stocking my cake toppers in their shop too The owners, Danny and Anna, are amazingly kind and I’m absolutely delighted to have my products in their shop ... Thanks guys #innovativechange #caketoppers #partyplanet

24.01.2022 You know what’s cheap to buy these days?.... unconditional love! Available at all good animal shelters I love making pet tags because I love getting pictures like this sent back to me What a beautiful ickle pooch with her ickle tag on! ... The profit I make from the sale of tags goes -> straight to animal shelters & charities! I make these for the love of animals only and that’s payment enough #innovativechange #weloveanimals

23.01.2022 Well I know Easter would've been a bit different for.. well... everybody last weekend! But lucky me, I had some beautiful Easter bunny drawings to cheer me up! Thanks to these absolute champions and your beautiful drawings! Apologies if your drawing is not in the video and... apologies for the video itself Yours truly is pretty okay at making things... but a bit special when it comes to social media ... P.s. I still can't find my book

21.01.2022 Well not only did I have a lot of fun designing and making this for a customer, I also made one for myself and for an entire month now I have remembered to go to the toilet BEFORE bed time!... saved heaps of money on washing powder I’ll be taking a week off sometime in July to set up a shop to make ordering non-custom items like this one that little bit easier for everyone I’ll let you all know in due course when that will be For the time being just message me on Insta ...or Facey or visit the website www.innovativechange.com.au #innovativechange #wettingthebedsince86 #notanymore

21.01.2022 Well you design something, you make it, you paint it, you put a price on and you sell it! business 101 right? I factored all these things in when I did put a price on my new Flat Pack Fire Pit... but I neglected to factor in that times have been a bit tough lately... aaaand Christmas is just around the corner (10 weeks! ) Sooooo... I’ve decided that for the rest of October, I’m burning 25% off the price of my fire pits ... Just go to www.innovativechange.com.au/featured-item and click on the pic to have a lookski or to order And just to really help someone out this Christmas I’ll be giving one away in November along with some other goodies so stay tuned for that #innovativechange #flatpackfirepit #burnbabyburn #flashsale #thetimeforgivingisalways @ Korumburra, Victoria

21.01.2022 Isolation just means I can get my geek on! ... and learn how to edit videos #innovativechange #lasercutting #lasercuttingacrylic #legendofzelda #herooftime #geekandproud #namedmycatLink

Stay tuned for updates, details on my new online shop, weird stuff, silly stuff, random stuff and of course cat stories For now.. Be like Darth... use the Mask ... For anyone local to Korumburra, check out some of my recently made artwork down at The Tiny Teapot Cafe. I'll be adding a Geek Chic section to my website (www.innovativechange.com.au) where I make... well... whatever I wanna make for fun! If COVID and isolation has taught me one thing... sometimes you gottsa make your own fun so I did... literally!

20.01.2022 I always seem to neglect my cake toppers on social media but they are actually my favourite things to make! Not least because of the pictures I always get sent back of amazing cakes! This little beauty was made by @katecansew amazing work, I wouldn’t even know where to start ... #innovativechange #caketoppers

20.01.2022 I’m very lucky that I’ve got a neighbour behind me who also loves cats @hages69 she’s amazing! Loves animals, we have a lot in common! I cant even remember what she ordered this time but I know it was for her daughter who’s cat had just passed away So I made her daughter a little freeby. It doesn’t help much with the loss of family, I can appreciate that as we all can, but again just a small act of kindness.... The back read a cat will forever leave paw prints on your heart. A lot of people are adopting animals at the moment, which is awesome!... But don’t forget: an animal isn’t just for coronavirus... it’s for life Ps. A silver lining over this trying time is the kindness that I’ve been witnessing and just so you know... There are NO small acts of kindness... it’s just kindness! It doesn’t need measuring #bekindtoallcreatures

20.01.2022 Coronavirus eh? Well... just look after each other as best you can. I’m no expert but I have come up with a poem that I reckon will help you think carefully about what you need to do/not do: Roses are red, violets are blue, you’re not invincible, so don’t be a goose needs work I know but the diagrams pretty cool right? That’s pretty much what I’m getting at ... #innovativechange #wisewords #lookaftereachother #keepsmiling #washyourhands #dontbeagoose

20.01.2022 Erm... yeah... so... it’s amazing what some people ask for sometimes wanted it engraved on a chopping board too... dread to think what they’re chopping #innovativechange #wedrawdicks

19.01.2022 Another new string on IC’s bow last year was steel work I had great fun making so many of peoples ideas and I even had to make my own painting rig and learn how to spray paint to accomodate I do love learning new things mind ... P.s. I am a lot better at making steel signs than I am videos on my I-phone ... that’s something else I’m still learning #innovativechange #designer #steelworker #lasercutter #painter #notadirector

19.01.2022 Well it’s with deep regret (and slight relief to be honest ) that I will now be closing for the Christmas period I am so very appreciative of the support from all the great customers who’ve helped dig me out of a covid shaped hole this year I would love to stay open a bit longer but I’ve got so much work to do between now and Christmas I just can’t take anymore on and risk disappointing people I will still be posting and I can’t wait to share with you the amazing id...eas we’ve made into a reality for people’s Christmas pressies It’s been frantic yet so much fun and it’s not over yet Stay tuned over Christmas and in the new year, I’ve got some big ideas to come, which I’m sure you’ll love! From the bottom of my heart and with the utmost sincerity, thank you all so much for your continued support! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas! #innovativechange #merrychristmas #muchlove

18.01.2022 Remember when students used to bring an apple to school for their teacher? Do kids still do that?? Been a long time since I was at school! Anyway this has gotta rank up there with one of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve done to date. Ordered by a teacher for her team to give them a little lift through this difficult time! I guess a lot of people have had a bit of experience teaching in the last few weeks and I hope all parents and teachers out there take heed of the message; yo...u are important and you certainly make a difference everyday P.s. If taking an apple to school for your teacher is not a thing anymore... someone needs to step up and bring it back #innovativechange #woodworking #laserengraving #teachersareheroes #anappleforateacher #bringbacktheapple

17.01.2022 I’m totally lost on what day of Christmas it is now... whatever yesterday was I nursed a hangover I’m only human and Happy New Year everyone by the way Today I’ll let you know how I went with my Christmas balls... they were on sale at $7. The $1 profit made was going to the Stroke Foundation; a cause that has become very close to my heart recently. I made no less than 196 balls! So once again thank you all very much! They’ll be staying my shop as bag tags and we’...ll go again next Christmas #innovativechange #strokefoundation #strokefoundationaustralia

17.01.2022 Coronavirus special! Also known as times are hard, nobody wants anything because... times are hard... and I just want to get rid of some stock and keep my business going special I have 8 x 16oz, stainless steel hip flasks left. I figured seeing as how you can’t support your footy team... why not drink alcohol from a flask!... with your footy teams logo on it ... First in best dressed, they’re going for $25* only, let me know your team and I’ll engrave their logo on them for ya! (*$1,000 for Pies fans! kidding!) AND!... did I mention you can drink alcohol from them? oh yeah I did! #innovativechange #aflfooty #coronavirusspecial #laserengraving #hipflask #gohawthorn #piessuck #beerthecauseandsolutiontoalloflifesproblems

17.01.2022 I LOST MY BOOK!!! PLEASE HELP!!! So I heard that there’s a few bored kids out there and a few bored parents! Well I was pretty bored myself so I decided to write a TWENTY PAGE children’s book about a little golden cat and her animal buddies! ... I engraved all the pages real nice onto clear acrylic so I could give them all a good sanitize! And they all had a PINK RIBBON on them! Well you’ll never guess what happened!... I was reading through my book, (whilst wearing plastic gloves ) and walking ANTICLOCKWISE around the RICHARD STREET REC RESERVE and I managed to drop every single bloody page! Now I reckon I dropped my first page somewhere around the WOODEN BARRIER next to the social rooms. Then I walked over the DECKING, to the PICNIC TABLE and alllll the way around the outside of the CRICKET OVAL FENCE, stopping at the BACK FENCE for a sec and must’ve dropped every other page about 25 metres apart maybe I dunno! Probably dropped my last page somewhere in the TREE JUST PASSED THE SHEDS maybe! Well I was really hoping somebody would read my book so if there’s any bored parents out there with bored kids between the ages of 2 and 6ish who fancy a brisk outdoor walk over the weekend, maybe you could find my TWENTY pages, read my story and let me know what you think of it? Oh and if you do find my pages, please don’t touch them, I’d hate to have grubby finger prints all over my book! And if you happen to see anyone else there reading my book... well you all know what to do/not do by now Be smart and stay safe everyone Danny (P.S. According to the latest DHHS Vic publication: Recs are closed however you are permitted into them to exercise your kids, ride a bike, walk your dog etc. so long as social distancing rules are adhered to. It’s as clear as mud to be honest so I’m not fully aware of the legalities. Participate at your discretion but please be careful and respectful. I don’t want to put anyone at risk, I want to try and help is all. Thank you ) I will be cleaning the "pages" regularly https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus-stay-home-and-restr

16.01.2022 As you may well know by now, creating anything involving animals is my fav!... So I loved making these baby closet dividers for a customer with a Jungle theme Pretty cute ey?... $10 each to save you having to ask Speaking of animals; One at a Time Pet Rescue in Lang Lang is holding an assisted desexing day on the 4th July, aimed at helping low income families with the finances required in getting their Cat Puppies desexed and also to reduce the number of cats that end u...p in shelters Desexing is very important and something that benefits people, cats and the safety of local wildlife and I was happy to ask to be a part of it So for this week all profits made by IC will go to One at a Time Pet Rescue check them out on Facey if you haven't already :-) #innovativechange #goodpeopledeservegoodthings

15.01.2022 Well with me clearly being a sucker for punishment; I didn’t think working a full time job whilst running a business was enough... So my New Years resolution was to start my own Charity for 2021 Job done It’s called ONYX. It aims to advocate, educate, rescue and rehabilitate and ultimately get cats off the streets and into good, loving homes, which in turn also benefits the unique and vulnerable native animals of Australia win win It is a charity organisation, however... I will NOT be asking for nor accepting donations, there are already so many charities out there doing good things and I’d hate to cut their lunch Instead, I will be self funding the creation of my own items to sell; with all profits made from said items going towards ONYX’s goals. If you like what you hear and would like to support my work, you can find the ONYX shop at www.innovativechange.com.au/onyx You can also follow ONYX’s journey on instagram now at onyx.cats (link below) and we will have Facebook up and running ASAP. Thank you for your support @onyx.cats #cats #catrescue

15.01.2022 Oh I do love supporting this! The OMK cricket club, led by the lovey Amy White have been running their pink stumps day for a fair few years now. I love it Due to covid, this years OMK pink stump day is an online event with an online auction and Amy and her helpers have had to work extra hard to get things set up, they’ve done an amazing job and are a credit to the community... and to humanity in general really Knowing how hard they selflessly work (especially this ...year!) I promised Amy I’d go maximum effort plus 10% to try and help So check out lots 26 and 35... and for the extra 10% you gotta check out lot 43! In fact check out allllll the lots! Get around it, put a bid on and support an amazing cause

15.01.2022 So I am dabbling in a bit of metal work now so far so good but of course it is a tad more expensive than my usual materials! If you’re looking for an alternative, black and white acrylic can make for a great looking sign for your man/woman cave. The white letters here are stuck on with A3M double sided tape, as good as nails that stuff!... Cheap and cheerful and will last a lifetime #innovativechange #lasercutting #laserengraving #signagedesign #signage #itsnotworkifyouloveit

15.01.2022 Congratulations to the winners of our Mother’s Day prize packages! @amy_robertsonn and @rebeccakate1 I had a a great time collaborating with some very generous, local businesses for this comp and thanks in particular to Kaylee from @twine_foliage who organised this great idea and did all the hard yards #supportlocalandlocalsupportsyou #happymothersday #twinefoliage #workingtogether

14.01.2022 Well so far I have 42 beautiful bunny drawings that have easily beat my cute bunny Igor not that I was trying I decided to make plenty more today so there’s still lots of Easter bunny keyrings without good homes to go to yet You’ve still got plenty of time to send me your cutest bunny drawing, until tomorrow 12pm. Surely I can beat somebody! ... #happyeaster

14.01.2022 Well I’ve only got about 10 or so flat pack fire pits left in stock and I think that’s about all I’ll be able to make until the new year so if you’re thinking of one for a Chrissy pressy, try not to miss out P.s. I’ll be leaving them on sale for $165 until current stock has gone See www.innovativechange.com.au/featured-item for full details ... #innovativechange #memakefire

14.01.2022 ... I’ll be honest I don’t even remember who this topper was for so I’ll just pretend they loved it, thought it was the best thing ever and gave me a raving review If anyone recognises this topper and disagrees with the above statement, keep quiet or else! #innovativechange #lasercutting #lasercuttingacrylic #caketoppers #ravingreviews #probablythebesttoppersever #thehuntisover

14.01.2022 What’s your ol’ mate Danny got for you tonight?? Something spesh that’s what!... A lovely lady, (Thank you Angela!), was after a cRazY steel sign! She sent me a specific size and one word: Outtrimmer, a picture of a pair of shears and a picture of a guy wearing a cowboy hat and a bandana! What more do you need??! ... So ol’ Danny here put alls thems ingredients into his magic hat and POOF!... this is what came out! 13.01.2022 Well I haven’t posted... at all recently But rest assured I have been busy! Aside from my new kitty rescue I’ve also been helping people out too, because I do like people also you know ... I was rapt to hear today that my Pink Stumps donations of IC fire pits and a one-of-a-kind garden screen (inspired by the people who helped with my bushfire fundraiser last year), managed to help raise nearly $1,200 for the cause Thanks to the truly generous people who bid through the week and massive congratulations to the OMK Pink Stumps crew who raised around $55,000 for the wonderful McGrath foundation #innovativechange #pinkstumpsday #mcgrathfoundation

13.01.2022 Found my new favourite wood, CEDAR! It ain’t cheap but boy it’s got some character! I mean check this out? Looks like I carved words into freakin’ Jupiter! Well I loved it that much that it’s now permanently in stock this was the first time I’d used it and it sure won’t be the last!... #innovativechange #woodworking #woodengraving #lasercutting #formynexttrickI’llengraveUranus

13.01.2022 On the second day of Christmas... I loved this idea! Jeez it was a bit of work but I do love a challenge! A lovely gift for new parents/grandparents to record their young ones growing up. ... I still remember my folks using a bic pen and writing on the kitchen door every month to measure my height... I was always trying to steal a cm or two Can anyone else relate?... These will be available in my shop once I reopen in the new year #alwayswantedtobetall #toooldnow ... #startingtoshrink

12.01.2022 One thing that really took off this year was pet tags. I decided to have a go at these after one month; myself and my girlfriend held four dogs at our house who’d escaped their homes None had tags on and boy did that make it hard to contact their owners! Lucky social media helps these days but a tag would’ve made things real easy So I wanted to make these just for the pets and their safety. I made them affordable at only $10 a pop, I make $2 profit per tag I don’t mind ad...mitting... and that $2 goes straight to local charities who care for and protect our furry little (and large) friends that’s payment enough for me If you need a pet tag they are now the featured item in my shop: www.innovativechange.com.au/featured-item #innovativechange #animals #animalcare #animalrescue #pettags #allcreaturesgreatandsmall #protectyourpet #onyx

12.01.2022 On the... ... ... 4th day is it??? Of Christmas ... Now this is where Innovative Change gets a bit intricate! What a stupid name for a company right?!! but it has always had meaning... I get embarrassed by advertising that I do this so please be patient with me... Here’s a clue into why I chose IC as a name and what it stands for. We have currently bought 7 swags for the homeless of Australia Aside from losing my furry fam... being homeless is my greatest fear! S...eriously!!! They go hand in hand I reckon, home is where my fam is and fam is where my home is... can you imagine having neither??? I consider myself so rich everyday to have both in a world where so many have neither!... I’ll reveal more tomorrow on how you helping me and buying my wares, helps others For more info on how to help the homeless visit www.backpackbed.org #iwantednothingforchristmas #ialreadyhaveeverythingineed

12.01.2022 Thank you so, so much to everyone who has read Ruby's 2nd adventure so far rumour has it the weekend is going to produce some fine weather for book finding so that's awesome! Feedback is that a couple of pages, (#8 especially), have been stinkers to find so good news!... If you're really struggling and wanna cheat, just follow the link at the bottom P.S. To whomever does read Ruby's book.... there will be a competition held this month to win a pretty hot prize (little c...lue as to the prize there )... There will be 3 questions asked that only people who have read the book will know so read carefully folks Enjoy your weekend all, whatever you're up to! Peace, love and cats Cheat sheet: https://www.innovativechange.com.au/map

11.01.2022 Well I was never ever going to put this up for obvious reasons... but what the hell! It was made for a friends ‘survivor’ style camping trip to make the wearer immune from elimination! I wonder what else it could could make people immune to??? Hmmm nah probably won’t work. If only it did I’d happily wear one!... Stay safe peeps! Spread love and laughter... not viruses #innovativechange #lasercuttingacrylic #unidegree > #makesdicksforaliving

11.01.2022 Well I know Mother’s Day would have been bittersweet for some but I hope all the mum’s out there had a lovely day I got a bit spoilt myself!... I had so many amazing things to make for some very thoughtful people that I’m spoilt for choice this week on what to post I did love these and I figured they are still relevant for any occasion and for any loved one really - a pocket hug ... These will continue to be available for $10 and I will happily post them off to a loved one you’re missing for free #innovativechange #mothersdaygiftideas #pockethug #hugsarethebest #spreadthelove

11.01.2022 Don’t know if anyone noticed recently but The Tiny Teapot Cafe in Burra got a bit of a sign upgrade recently Me and the owners, Deb and Pete have always had a little barter system going... best way to trade I reckon and we’re always doing favours for each other: Pete and Deb let me advertise my wares in their shop from the day I started up (for free) and really helped me out in the early days with getting up a running... ... In return, whilst they struggled their way through coronavirus, I offered to replace their old, run down sign with a brand spanking new one made from lasertech plastic the stuff lasts forever! Take a look next time you go in for a coffee. And don’t forgot to keep supporting all the local businesses in town (and each other) as best you can #innovativechange #lasercutting #supportlocal #supportingsmallbusinesses #goodpeopledeservegoodthings #thetinyteapot

11.01.2022 Well it’s been nice to do a few cake toppers again recently, it’s been a while!... Almost as if people have not been allowed to celebrate or have parties recently or something Hopefully this is a sign of better things to come and a bit of normality resumed... then we can all celebrate together ... #innovativechange #caketoppers #goawayvirus #nobodylikesyou

11.01.2022 So what are the odds? You move 10,000 miles away from England to live in Australia... and the first steel, sports sign you’re asked to make is for a rugby team that is based 10,000 miles away... back in England! Who are Widnes Vikings you ask? Well they officially became the first ever Rugby League World Cup Challenge champions when they beat the Canberra Raiders in 1989 Since then... donuts! Incidentally they are a Lancashire team and I’m from Yorkshire... so I’m ...also obliged to hate them I did enjoy making the sign though I must admit #innovativechange #laserdesign #lasercutting #steelsigns #lancashiresucks #yorkshireisgodscountry #widnesvikings

10.01.2022 My fav feedback photo of 2020 so far every good man cave needs a good sign! ... And here I am thinking I’m making a good man cave sign for Carl and little did I know I was actually making a necklace all along Thanks Gabbie and Carl for the business! Loved making the sign for you and really, really loved the photo! ... #innovativechange #mancavesigns #carlsbar

10.01.2022 We’ve got a deal happening for Easter My Easter tags were very popular last Easter amongst all the craziness happening in the world and I'm very grateful to all who ordered... So this year I thought I’d throw in a little freebie to accompany them ... For every Easter tag order, you’ll get a lucky Easter bunny foot so you can have an extra big of fun stirring the kids Available on my website in the featured item section Bring on the chocolates!! https://www.innovativechange.com.au/featured-item

10.01.2022 Stay calm peeps! Look after yourselves but don’t forget...

10.01.2022 ... 5th day!... this was a fair few months ago actually... This little darling is Adana... Aptly named as she was raised in a military base in Adana, Turkey after being rescued from war ... Adana’s best friend and rescuer was an American soldier named Bobbie and they looked after each whilst Bobbie was on active duty in the Middle East. When Bobbie was discharged she tried desperately to get her best friend a flight back to the USA, which isn’t a cheap exercise! Well... I certainly know how much a small cat can positively affect a person (a lot!) so with the help of War Paws in the UK, Innovative Change funded the flight and managed to reunite Adana with Bobbie in her home in the US #andtheylivedhappilyeverafter

10.01.2022 Finally ONYX is on Facebook (link below) :-) www.facebook.com/ONYX-Cat-Care-102859411789385 If you would like to join me on my little/hopefully large journey then please do so. I promise you will learn plenty of things about the mysteries that are cats!... If you're not yet aware; ONYX's ultimate aim is to get cats off the streets and into loving homes, whilst reducing the number of feral, neglected and surrendered cats through education, which in turn will also benefit the vulnerable native wildlife of Australia. You don't have to be a cat lover to follow along but be warned that if you do... you may be one later You're support in any way, shape or form would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you very much

10.01.2022 PLEASE HELP!!! I LOST MY NEW BOOK!!! Thanks to some keen eyed young locals I managed to find the pages of my first book, which inspired me to write a new TWENTY PAGE sequel Well you’ll never believe what happened to it today! I went down to the KORUMBURRA SHOWGROUNDS to give my book one last read; I walked round the oval and suddenly all my good memories of playing footy came flooding back and I decided to play a bit of make-believe! ... I was running around, dodging, weaving, side-stepping (all the things I never actually did in a real game ) and I got totally lost in the moment! So much so that when I got near the CITY-END GOAL, I threw the imaginary ball on my right boot and WHAM!! Booted the thing for miles! only I didn’t have a ball in my hand did I?... it was my BOOK!! And typical for me, just like in a game, all my TWENTY PAGES pretty much flew out of bounds on the full! - Now I’m pretty sure I heard page 1 go through the NETBALL RING and land somewhere around there it had GREEN RIBBON on it. I reckon pages 2 and 3 are visible if you’re reading page 1, both somewhere between it and the grand stand (I’d recommend carrying on walking ANTICLOCKWISE around the oval from there). Page 4 nigh on ended up in the changing rooms via the STAIRS where I used to run out. Page 5 and 6 landed pretty close together near the FLOODLIGHT tower. I guy started TAPPING THE POST when page 7 nearly hit him might have been trying to tell me something?! Page 8 landed just over the white line in THE TOP POCKET, just on the grass verge. I heard 9, 10 and 11 hit THREE SEPARATE BUILDINGS on the top wing! 12 landed on the grass verge in the OTHER TOP POCKET. Now 13, 14 and 15 went flying! One hit a TREE up the steps towards the gazebo I reckon the other landed in the gazebo! 15 hit the GAZEBO AND BOUNCED BACK towards the WOODEN FENCE near there! 16 just missed the city-end point post and landed behind the advertisement boards. 17 put a dint in the SMALL POST, out on the full still ! 18 I shanked and it rolled just left of said post! Now I’m not sure where 19 landed but it sounded like it hit the SCOREBOARD SIREN so I’d check around there. As for page TWENTY, which was wrapped in all gold ribbon well that couldn’t have been too far away! - Anyway, I was pretty embarrassed that all twenty pages missed the entire goal from 5 metres out so I did what I always used to do and feigned an imaginary injury and ran off the ground before I had chance to look for my book! So if anyone feels like reading the sequel to Ruby’s adventures you’ll have to go find it for me again!... very sorry You’ll need a very keen eye for this one so let me know how you go

Let’s find out who was really paying attention (you may have to ask your kids for the answers).... How to be in the draw: answer the questions... and that is all From Ruby’s trip to the beach (the book at the Richard Street Rec reserve): who fixed Ruby’s blown engine using her claw? 08.01.2022 Pretty apt that I did these change room signs for @whistlewood.boutique this week.... ... considering the past 6+ months I decided closing down over Christmas would be a bit wrong of me so I’m going to remain open all the way through Unfortunately though, I am pretty much fully Occupied as far as custom orders are concerned for Christmas ... If you have a project, as always feel to message. If I can fit it in I will and my apologies if I cannot! #innovativechange #occupied #thankyou

07.01.2022 Sorry I haven’t posted much lately... I’ve been flat out to be honest and I’m very thankful for that One thing I spent some time on was this 1.4m x .7m steel sign made for @Janie stace of Barn Buddies mobile farm! Janie recently won a local hero award for her dedication in caring for animals whilst educating people and children regarding the importance of caring for animals; two things I hold in extremely high importance in the world today!... Well... I just couldn’t bring myself to pocket any takings from such a wonderful person!... So the profit made from this project was spent cleaning Kmart out of towels hoarder style which were then duly donated to Barn Buddies to help keep the animals snug throughout the winter I did get a tour of the farm and got to pet all the animals mind didn’t want to leave #innovativechange #metalwork #labouroflove #loveanimals #goodpeopledeservegoodthings

07.01.2022 Well I’ve been doing my best to help others lately... which I love don’t get me wrong!... But now and again you have to do something for yourself Today marks 23 years since I picked up a computer game called Final Fantasy 7 which as far as I’m concerned is the greatest story ever told! ... Now for parents who think computer games don’t have a lasting impact on their children, I think you’re wrong The story of this game taught me sacrifice, love, empathy, how to be a hero (try to be) and most importantly to cherish friendship! The lessons this game taught me have stuck with me for those 23 years and today it was remade and rereleased, downloaded to my PlayStation and I can’t wait to play it and experience it again It means that much to me... I even made a tribute #innovativechange #embracethenerd

07.01.2022 Well it’s good to be back in the swing of things finally! I’ve got my fingers for everyone else who’s still struggling at the moment! And boy have I had some steel orders since being back! Thought I’d post this little beauty today! Kasey, (the K in B&K), got in touch with me just before I had to close down and was more than happy to wait patiently for me to get back into gear to do her sign for her and I loved that and am very appreciative ... Maximum effort +10% went into this one! It was cut from 3mm steel and painted with black zinc gal for a bit of texture and weather proofing. Here it is just as it came off the spray rig #innovativechange #itsgoodtobeback

See www.innovativechange.com.au for details. Reduced why??? I want to make a real impact this Christmas on people and bloody good families affected by strokes... and I’d really love your help thank you #innovativechange #strokessuckballs

05.01.2022 So a lady reached out to me a few weeks back asking for a cake topper for her sons birthday. She sent me a picture of him riding a skateboard and asked me to use it with words skate high. From those words it didn’t take much to realise what had happened and sure enough, her beloved son had just taken his own life days before his 18th birthday. It’s important to remember with everything going on that people need help now more than ever. As a silver lining, hopefully these re...cent times can act as a catalyst for positive change, kindness, selflessness and support. Things the world has been lacking for a long time. Look after yourself but be vigilant with other people’s feelings and opinions. Coronavirus is on everyone’s lips but don’t forget there’s a lot of other things still going on in the world, a lot of people are scared, but no matter how bad you think it gets, it can get worse. I charged this lovely lady $0 for her topper with free postage a small act of kindness for sure, but why wouldn’t ya? #innovativechange #lasercutting #caketoppers #smallactsofkindnesschangetheworld

04.01.2022 Believe it or not... this sign wasn’t made for myself The Kitty Cats I’m all about... however horses no idea! Wouldn’t even know where horse shoes went on a horse... I was given two of them to put on this sign soooo as there are only two... I’m guessing they go on either the eyes or the ears #innovativechange #cantrideahorse #canrideacat

04.01.2022 Well I’m pretty happy with my latest design! Without the capacity to weld or fold steel anymore, I decided I had to come up with a new way to make steel fire pits... ... and here it is, the IC-FPFP! The IC flat pack fire pit! Comes in four pieces, takes 2 minutes to assemble and flat pack, weighs only 10kg and perfect for camping!... more importantly, you CAN light a bloody good fire in it ... They are now available to buy at www.innovativechange.com.au under my new featured item section. Made to order, they take about 10 days to build and flame proof paint so if you like what you see, get your orders in now before (COVID) Christmas #innovativechange #firepits #ifyoucantbeatapandemicburnit

04.01.2022 Well this lovely lady has cut my hair plenty of times so finally it was my turn to cut her something this time round @mk_hm_professional, Melissa, has just started her own business and I wish her all the best! I’m pretttty confident no one will beat me and I’ll get to keep all my bunny keyrings ... We’ll see... #innovativechange #lasercutting #woodworking #easterbunny #eastereggs #praisejebus #supportlocal #bekind #spreadlovenotviruses

03.01.2022 Even more metal work tonight! A piece not built for art this time but for practicality! The customer, Drew, requested a stencil so he could spray paint his new skip bins. I figured 2mm aluminium was the way to go! Lightweight and durable... kinda like me Making the stencil was only half the work, slide left to see Drew’s paintwork after having used the stencil ... If you’re in the market for skip bin, give DKR skips a call. Family business and a very lovely family at that #innovativechange #metalwork #dkrskips @ Korumburra, Victoria

03.01.2022 Vary rare I get chance to properly advertise this material: It’s called traffolyte and it’s generally used for safety signs, engineering applications and for electrical boards... ... but it can have it’s other uses! This sign started life as an allll blue board, but when engraved the blue reveals white underneath ... Traffolyte comes in a huge range of colours which you can find at www.innovativechange.com.au under the ‘capabilities’ tab. It’s know for being hard wearing, UV, water and impact resistant. Seems it also makes a good Chevy sign too #innovativechange #traffolyte #chevy

03.01.2022 Well I’ve official just finished my last Christmas job... timed things pretty well if I must say Now I still can’t put up pics of folks Chrissy presents so here’s a pic of that thing that happened this year and is still happening unfortunately! Hopefully 2021 will be better to say the least! For my Christmas I’ll be sharing my fav makes from throughout the year with you plus I’ve got a couple of major announcements to make regarding my ickle biziness ... I’ll also be doi...ng a fresh prince by chilling out, maxing, relaxing NO meatball shooting! Be safe everyone in Australia and to my friends and fam in England, stay 1 dolphin apart jeez I feel for you #whatayear #neveragainthanks

02.01.2022 These informative signs were made for a customer who wanted to illustrate what a person with coronavirus might look like! If you see someone standing around holding his or her genital region, you must implore them to get tested immediately! They 100% may or may not have a virus! ... on second thought they may have just been funny toilet signs for the local boozer but meh better safe than sorry peeps!... #innovativechange #laserengraving #toilethumour #stayathome #dontpissyourpants #keepsmiling

02.01.2022 Today was the first ANZAC day dawn service I’ve missed in the nine years I’ve been living in this beautiful country so I paid tribute a different way... I don’t know if it’s any good but it’s dedicated to today’s heroes: Soldiers, emergency services, doctors, nurses, care workers, teachers, parents, grandparents and anyone who is doing their best to give their today for other people’s tomorrow! Thank you The day of remembrance is upon us once more,... Where we celebrate the immortals, who died in the war. A day of kindness, love and respect, Values our ancestors fought to protect. Think of those soldiers and the battles they had, And a war on a virus won’t seem so bad, Consider those soldiers who have been and long gone, And what they would’ve given to be told, stay at home. It is today that we speak three words, In the hope that the voices of the dead will be heard. We’ll stand in silence and the Last Post shall play, Lest we forget, we all shall say. A future of peace is all that they wanted, So shame on us who take this for granted. They paid the ultimate price for the sake of their nation, And we live good lives, because they laid the foundation. Now consider today and how lucky we are, To live in nice houses and drive around in nice cars. And ask yourself, do you cherish the ANZAC soul? Then fight for their memory; and not for toilet roll

02.01.2022 ... now doing fridge magnets Another great idea given to me by a fantastic customer P.s. thank god for computers because the pink illustration underneath was my own personal attempt at hand drawing a person ... #innovativechange #candocomputers #specialatmostotherthing

01.01.2022 It was really lovely to receive some messages over the weekend from you fantastic young people who braved the storm and read little Ruby's story! I wasn't brave enough!... So would you believe it the TWENTY pages are still lost! And probably will be for the REST OF THE WEEK! Never mind eh! (P.s. key message from the PM yesterday: "exercise in compliance with the public gathering requirements" IS still regarded as an acceptable reason to leave home )... Stay safe, be kind to each other - Danny https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus-covid-19-daily-upda
