25.01.2022 Perfect day for trimming some tootsies <3

25.01.2022 Glue-U products are so easy to use and have a great range! Silicones are excellent under pads. Urethanes will bond well through mesh. And the adhesives are the main ones we use for all our glue-on work. You can have a closer look at the range here: https://buff.ly/3mmFrMH

24.01.2022 4 years today since I received my first order of Glue-u!

24.01.2022 Imagine that you are a pediatrician. You have a whole lot of patients who are allergic to peanuts. On a daily basis you have to deal with this from the parents ...of these children: "I haven't given my child peanuts for a few weeks, is it ok to give him some now" "I only give her a few peanuts a day, that can't hurt" "Why is my child allergic to peanuts when my friends kid isn't?" "I don't believe that my kid is allergic to peanuts so I'm going to feed them peanuts anyway" Can you imagine parents being like this rather than doing everything in their power to keep their child safe? Right now I'm having this sort of conversation on a daily basis about really sore horses who are still being put out on grass in spite of all the advice against it. Some of you are literally killing your horses by allowing unfettered access to this super charged pasture. I appreciate that it's difficult and probably very frustrating to have to hand feed when there is an abundance of grass but you just have to do it. Consider this grass as the peanut that your child is allergic to and don't give them any...I have seen some unimaginable suffering this year and a lot of it could be so easily avoided. Be a good steward to your animals. Signed, Every depressed and exhausted hoof care practitioner in Australia who is trying to help your laminitic horse. See more

22.01.2022 Food for Thought.... I went to a nail salon a number of months back. At first I was opposed but eventually agreed. I didn’t realize you get to sit in a chair... that massages you , have your feet swirling in hot foot bath and on top of having your nails trimmed get an amazing foot and arm scrub. Cost ? About $70pp plus tip. We both sat there quietly, didn’t try to move to a different chair in the middle of the it. We didn’t flop our hands or feet about or stand up to stretch during. We didn’t try to bite the technician or demand snacks to keep quiet. At any moment there was no risk to the technician that we might blow up for no known reason and kick or punch them causing them bodily harm. They got to sit in a chair pretty comfortably while doing their job and got paid a decent fee for their 30 minutes of work. Consider this the next time your farrier risks their well being to get under your horse and just trim all 4 hooves for less than $70

09.01.2022 Beautiful Morning for seeing some horses in Yarck, Alex and Mansfield <3

08.01.2022 Before and after for Mr Zacky. The before was taken a few years ago after my first and terrible attempt at shoeing him. I couldn't get the shoe positioned how I wanted due to how compromised his foot was. The other front foot is in a similar state. So we started shoeing him with glued on Epona shoes and this is how his foot now looks (post trim but immediately prior to re-shoeing the other day). Eponashoes are available in Australia here: https://innovativehoofcare.com.au/products/eponashoe-pair

08.01.2022 When this Eponashoe was applied to a hoof with white line disease, we used bug buster around the edge of the foot. The shoe was then glued and cast in place, sealing the bugs out and the bugbuster in. When we removed the shoe you can see how the purple bug buster remains in place against the beige glue. This helps to keep the hoof healthy during the shoeing cycle and grow out the white line disease. These products are available in the online store here: https://buff.ly/3dVfHEl

06.01.2022 Some new GluShus for this beautiful girl. These glue on horseshoes are great for horses with thin or brittle walls, thin soles, or those owners wanting to avoid nailing. Available in Australia here: http://ed.gr/bbicn

05.01.2022 Having to do a bit of a postage overhaul due to the website sometimes glitching at checkout. But need to decide what way to go with it. What do you guys reckon?

05.01.2022 Glushu are one of our most popular products! We've used these extensively on clients horses as well as our own, and they're always flying off the shelf in the online store. These are one of the more affordable glue-on options with an aluminium shoe inside the rubber coating, making them easy to shape. The cuffs give plenty of bonding surface for a long-lasting application. After a few days of wear you will start to see the aluminium inside. This is a pair after 6 weeks of heavy trail riding. Available to purchase here: https://buff.ly/3kxSBWL

04.01.2022 #GluShu is great for horses with thin or brittle walls that may struggle to (safely) hold nails, horse with sensitive soles, or when transitioning to barefoot. Maybe you're a horse owner just wanting to avoid nails. Want to know more? Ask us! :) Available here: http://ed.gr/bbics

04.01.2022 Want to learn more about gluing on shoes, such as the GluShu? Ask me! Or look up each brands step by step guide. Available here: http://ed.gr/lk39

04.01.2022 My horse after his first trail ride in the #GluShu. Ask me more, I'm the Aussie Rep. :) https://innovativehoofcare.com.au/products/glushu-pair

01.01.2022 Glushu are a shapeable aluminium shoe with a cuffed rubber coating. These are a great option for horses who have little wall for safe nailing. Available here: https://buff.ly/3kxSBWL

01.01.2022 I know, I post about this topic a lot. But its important. Karen, whose "rescue" horse has ground parallel pedal bones cause she read on a forum somewhere that that's the goal, (and who has been doing her own horses feet for the last 18 months after watching youtube tutorials cause she can't find a farrier "who can do as good a job" as her

01.01.2022 Mini Epona shoes have been a a literal life saver for lots of laminitic ponies we've seen over the years, especially older ones with a significant amount of boney changes. This one is applied with Glue-U Shufill underneath which is available in three densities. These shoes are also available in horse sizes too. Check them out here: https://buff.ly/2HCp7Zv
