11.01.2022 Ok shoot me down if I am way off track. The government is dangling incentives to keep us open longer with the new stimulous ($1500 p/fortnight) accessible as a back payment in one month. In that time you will stay open (health risk, 2 person only rule applies, 1.5m social distance rule applies, stay @ home applies for both us and clients?? and continue paying bills also we will be expected to pay GST installment in that time. EVERY other country has had to implement a shutdown....it is inevitable it will happen here.....I feel the Government is trying to milk us by dangling this $1500 per employee incentice to get them another month before they have to shut down the country. Thoughts?

08.01.2022 Omg what a long day and a sad day for all hairdressers.... doing the last perms and colours till we are all on the other side......... It is such a hard time for all of us atm.... We are all in limbo not knowing what will come next..... our lives have changed so much and in a very short time and from minute to minute scary..... Losing what we know to the unknown........ I'll be still doing haircuts atm in the 30min time frame that we have been given...... But I will keep you posted if things change... Stay safe everyone See more

07.01.2022 Confirming that hairdressing, barbers and the beauty industry can remain open. Please note that hygienic measures and social distancing must be respected by everyone. If this does not happen our industry will be asked to also close. This is up to all of us to be accountable and responsible in ensuring WHS is above and beyond our usual procedures. Please everyone take this chance we’ve been given seriously !
