24.01.2022 At all levels of practice Reiki heals the practitioner as well as the recipient. Tomorrow I take 4 beautiful people into the next level of their Reiki journey @theyogacentre. Level 2 explores the ability to become the vessel of life force energy to flow into another person to heal, a situation from the past present or future and send healing across through space and time... But how??! I hear you ask. ... A simple paper cut, we never give much thought into how the skin will repair itself because we forget about it and it just does. Whenever you injure yourself, or have a head ache, where do you instinctively place your hands? And yet somehow does it feel a little more at ease once we do? The is an unconscious action we have since our time began. When we do this we are changing the energy to that specific area that regulates our cellular function to start stimulating its natural process of healing. Reiki attunements allow you to access this same energy on a higher frequency, this means that same energy can infiltrate through the body, wether its a self healing or you are the vessel for transmitting the energy to others, it will stimulate the bodys natural way to eliminate discomfort on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. Surreal to hear town after town being announced for evacuation and the protocols for those who were in positions where they had no escape but to batten down the hatches and just wait and pray. 17.01.2022 The story of intuitive art I had always imagined energy healing and artwork coming together. To be able to tell a visual story of someones journey but tuning into their energy. This happened when I began exploring with mixed media, inks, acrylics, this willingness to be opened a room within and see what could unfold if I just let it. We are all creatives and can play with intuition on many levels, its allowing yourself that space to connect to your personal adventure. ... I absolutely love teaching people this in my workshops, each person is unique through their own vibration and can tap into their magic at any time, all you have to do is want it to happen When I am creating a piece, I take what I see in my minds eye during a healing session with a client or simply tuning into energy across space and time. I would also feel and sometimes hear words that would then just flow into the paper. The merging of different colours, some energies working on higher vibrations others more grounded, connection to water and earth, the elements pouring in, fusing it all together. 13.01.2022 The many hats we wear I thought Id share with you a little bit of something you may not know about me. Whilst a lot of you may see me as a healer, I am also a hairdresser and a passionate art dweller. For me art has always been the baseline of getting lost in a whole different world, from a young age to now, its something I get nothing but pure joy and could seriously get lost for hours on end and not even realise how much time has passed, it is an endless wor...ld of expressive imagination most of the end results are a whole heap of mistakes that worked out that people ended up liking and have purchased I have been hairdressing for 13 years and this has been my connection to people whilst making them feel absolutely fabulous , this has also been the extension of my creative outlet. Not to mention I work with an A grade team @scizzorlounge who have given nothing but support, friendship and real good laughs through every twist and turn of this journey. As hairdressers, clients will often open up their lives to us. The stories, the emotions, laughter, the problems and life in general. And though feeling amazing on the outside is a major self esteem booster, what we feel on the inside changes a whole reality! Energy healing is something that is a daily connection. It is strengthened by your awareness to who you really are beneath the stress, detached from the external experiences. Being able to connect to healing with energy, as a practitioner, teacher and just human being is the most incredibly rewarding journey, that helps myself and other remain true to their path, purpose and energy. 01.01.2022 Back up to the tropics This sensational view was my backyard for 2 of the 3 years I lived in Darwin. Tipperary Court Stuart Park ... Every morning before heading to the gym I would often sit out on the deck with a coffee and watch the most spectacular sunrises. Feeding bits of bread to the little fish in the marina, while listening to the morning birds and chilled music to get into the days groove. This was also the foundations of creating my Reiki business. Whilst the beauty of Darwin has its many magical pockets, my heart belonged back home in South Australia. Being fortunate to meet amazing friends, work colleagues, as well as my partner at the time, who influenced my growth that led me learn and incorporate other modalities as well as becoming a Reiki Master to teach others Tonight Im flying back to the home of where the journey all began. Looking forward to spending time with beautiful friends I have missed so much and soaking up all the Vitamin D I can, getting out and amongst nature. 01.01.2022 You are uniquely you, created and crafted out of Devine intelligence to have a soul enriching journey To move with the oceans of time and evolve within grand experiences along the way. Our mind is a vast ocean of thoughts that give energy to motion (E-motion). Just for a moment imagine you are standing along the shoreline, feeling your feet on the sand the waves gently kissing your toes, and invite those thoughts in that you may have some resistance too.. and just let your...self observe them just like you would watching the waves move in and out with the tide...
