12.01.2022 This is at the end of our street and we have watch the progress over the years since it started. It is how the forest should be. It won't happen in our lifetime but over future generations, the forest will be returned to how it was before the logging, grazing and man. It is the last in the world folks.

12.01.2022 Can you find a crab? Often seen from the Underwater Observatory windows, this species of decorator crabs pick off pieces of seaweed, soft coral and bryozoans at...taching them to their carapace (shell) by placing the pieces onto fine hairs. These seaweeds and corals continue to grow on the crab’s shell and provide a fantastic layer of camouflage for the crab. The crabs moult their shells as they grow, so there is a fresh canvas of shell to decorate each year. #marinelife #crab #busseltonjettyofficial #underwaterworld #camouflage See more

08.01.2022 Did you know Ngilgi Cave is named after a Dreamtime spirit? The caves in the South-West region have played an important role in the lives of Aboriginal people f...or over 50,000 years. It is such a privilege that we can admire these breath-taking caves today. You can learn plenty more about the area’s fascinating history on your next semi-guided tour. We’re open every day and to book simply head online or call 9780 5911. That way you are guaranteed a spot. IG/goaskaplanner captured this shot on her recent trip down to the spectacular Margaret River region. Thank you for sharing!

08.01.2022 A 25m long BLUE WHALE was spotted in the crystal clear waters of Geographe Bay over the weekend. "I don't think there's anywhere else in the world where you ...can film blue whales within a 100m from shore, in clear water on a sandy bottom. The South West is really unique," Blair Ranford, who shot the video said. Blair Ranford / @sharkyaerials
