Although distancing and hygiene practices are still in place, outdoor/indoor family sessions are up and running - making the most of this beautiful autumn weather and softer light. Currently, weddings are restricted to gatherings of up to 20 people plus the celebrant and the couple. Which, is giving a lot of couples the opportunity to rethink their wedding plans and opt for something really special and more intimate instead. If this is you - let’s talk! ...Small and intimate weddings are my thing! You might only need 2 hours of photography, and that’s ok! I can tailor to suit your needs. 12.01.2022 Things are very slowly looking up in the metro areas of Melbourne. Here’s the government’s latest Covid 19 road map plan for weddings as of 28 September 2020 : Weddings are allowed with up to 5 people outside PLUS a celebrant. Within 5km of your home. From 19 October (Assuming no more than 5 new daily cases for two weeks prior) weddings allowed with up to 10 people outside PLUS the celebrant. Travel within metro Melbourne permitted. From 23 November (Assuming no new vir...us cases for the two weeks prior) weddings with up to 50 people PLUS the celebrant, or 20 in a private residence. Finally after 28 days of zero new cases, weddings can resume with no guest limits, but organizers will be required to keep records of attendees. For now, small weddings are our only option. And for some, it’s not a bad option. I did it myself, so I’m happy to chat to anyone who is coming around to the idea of an intimate ceremony without the fanfare.
