25.01.2022 Winter weekends & whales on the Great Ocean Road #lovemybackyard #insideaustraliatravel

21.01.2022 From 26th October, 2019 you will no longer be able to climb to the top of Uluru (Ayers Rock). This decision was made by the local Anangu people who value Uluru as a culturally significant site. Out of respect to the local indigenous people we fully support this decision. Fear not, there is still plenty of other amazing things to see and do here! Check out our guide before you go.

18.01.2022 One of our favourite places to send visitors to, with an abundance of native wildlife, this was a particularly sad one to loose. The animals here brought so much joy to all that visited and we can only hope that it will come back bigger and brighter than before.

16.01.2022 For all those who are travelling through New South Wales...

15.01.2022 The beautiful Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk is one of the best walks in Sydney and offers some pretty spectacular seaside views. Our insiders tip - avoid weekends when it can get busy and go mid-week. Also take time to stop off at Bondi Icebergs to soak in the views with a drink or meal. Enjoy!

14.01.2022 "We loved all of Australia and especially the culture. We ALWAYS felt welcomed and people were extremely helpful. It was delightful to see how two countries sharing the same language express things in such different but perfectly understandable ways. We loved our trip and will be back again for another stay sometime in the future. Sandy especially wants to see Western Australia and add a trip to New Guinea." Raymond & Sandy, USA Travelled to: Sydney - Kakadu - Cairns - Melbourne - Great Ocean Road - Kangaroo Island - Adelaide

13.01.2022 Phillip Island, 2hrs south of Melbourne is a fantastic example of wildlife conservation and shows how much can be achieved when animals are prioritised. Now, these little guys are thriving and the experience of seeing them is something that shows how tourism & wildlife can work together coherently and successfully.

10.01.2022 Tassie has so much to offer in such a little package (well, compared to the rest of Australia anyway). Definitely one for the animal lovers, bush walkers & history buffs but so much more as well.

02.01.2022 The bush fires in Australia are having a serious impact on our prescious and unique native wildlife. If you'd like to help The Rescue Collective have a long term plan to help our wildlife get back on their feet.

01.01.2022 When buying Aboriginal artworks it's always important to ensure you are buying authentic artwork and that the money goes back to the painter & community. Here is a great opportunity to help where help is desperately needed and to get yourself a beautiful painting in the process. "The important Elder and renowned artist Philip GudthayKudthay (born c1926) would like to sell enough of his current artworks to buy a motorised scooter $10,000 incl. freight to his home at Ramingining in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory." Check out the website for more beautiful art by some amazingly talented indigenous people.

01.01.2022 Sometimes a winter beach getaway with plenty of good food and great friends is just what the soul needs #morningtonpeninsula
