18.01.2022 The person in these pics came to us wanting to work on his range of movement/ mobility, strengthen his core and rid himself of back pain which he has been suffering from for years. To say we are proud of how much he has improved and achieved in the past 8 weeks is an understatement. Not only has his range of movement, flexibility and fitness improved his level of pain has reduced immensely, he has more energy, is happier and has lost 8.4 centimetres off his waist as an extra ...little bonus. 13.01.2022 Kids Performance Training Program. Today the kids brought in their food logs, I was very impressed that they took the time to do them. We discussed what each of them ate, what good and bad food choices are and what changes could be made and why. Those who admitted to having a 711 Slushie in the past 7 days had to do push ups as punishment. #liquidsugar We discussed sugar and how addictive it is and how it affects our bodies. ... How much sugar is in food. The difference between hunger and dehydration. How our bodies feel when we are hungry vs dehydrated. The importance of drinking water. What the strongest organ in our body is. 3 different training methods: body weight, weights & resistant bands. They tested their resilience, strength & will power with an extremely long and hard wall sit with arm modifications. The kids have been given homework: to find food or drinks that have healthy marketing on the label and look and sound healthy but have loads of sugar in it. They are to screen shot the front and back of the label with all relevant info and to text it through to me so we can see who finds the healthiest looking food with the highest amount of sugar in it. Their other homework is to stretch their hip flexors. See more
