24.01.2022 Hey Mums and Dads, do you want to train more or is taking care of the kids leaving you with no time? Are the kids bored ? Try this! First time I did this, my 7 year old daughter loved it. You are dealing with the same weight for differing exercises, so your reps will likely range from 6 for one exercise to 20 for another. If you havent developed enough strength to date, hopefully you have a 3 year old !



24.01.2022 Today I ran a half marathon. Just thought Id share a few moments from the run: 1. Geez, its a bit cold to be wearing shorts and a singlet.... 2. A fella practicing his bowling technique as he runs. Thats a long run up! 3. Several overweight people running the full marathon (yes you can be fit and fat). 4. Wheres Waldo ... There she is wearing a tutu. 5. Theres Rosanna Mangiarelli kicking ass In her first half marathon (on trek to the NY marathon to raise funds for childhood cancer. www.littleheroesfoundation.com.au) 6. Theres Jo Ingles from the Utah Jazz... Wait on, hes in Rio. Gotta be his brother. 7. 16km in and my legs feel great. Many thanks to James from Coromandel Valley Physiotherapy Clinic for needling the hell out of my legs on Thursday. Was easily good for 3-5 minutes of improved running. 8. 20km and I need inspiration. Next track: Eminems Lose Yourself- perfect. "Lose yourself in the moment, you own it, dont ever let it go ... Dont miss your opportunity" 9. Legs are now smashed but Im running onto Adelaide Oval and 50,000 are roaring for me (wish!) 10. I cross the line and I hear "daddy, daddy". It was all worth it.

24.01.2022 After 7 years, its farewell to this place. Ill leave with fond memories - many great trainers and clients. More information to come, but I will continue to operate in the CBD. Looking forward to the next chapter with continued success and happiness.....

22.01.2022 Plyometric Exercise #4: vertical bench jumps - a great training technique but also useful for testing improvements in vertical leap. 3 x 6. Beginner: 30-40cm height. Advanced: 70-80cm height.

Jacinta and Luke are a dedicated and highly professional outfit and I look forward to working alongside them toward greater success. In the end, We didnt have to move too far as this new studio is still located at 128 Wakefield Street (ground floor, as opposed to top floor). Id like to thank all my existing clients for sticking with me during this time of change.

17.01.2022 I discovered this gem recently. Almost double the protein (15gm of protein /250ml) and half the lactose (sugars) of standard milk. No additives just a cold filtration process.

15.01.2022 Core stability and core movement exercise: Advanced hi-lo wood chop- by taking the outside leg off the ground we create greater instability and thus greater core activation. By creating the instability we are also creating greater core activation through the trunk rotators during the wood chop movement (inc. abdominal obliques and thoraco-lumbar erector spinae muscles).

10.01.2022 Tuesday 9am: for the past 4 years this session has been reserved for Christine. A loyal, strong and loving person who attended almost every session. Unfortunately, Christine lost a long battle to cancer on Sunday. She battled as hard as anyone possibly could - Her passing was a shock, in the sense that only 2 months ago she was training, going to yoga and meditation twice a week, eating cleanly and most notably, how strong and positive she was throughout. Cancer took your body but it could never take your soul. RIP Christine.
