03.01.2022 When strong emotions arise, if you want to make them bigger and more painful - think about them some more. If you want to process your emotions however- feel them in your body. Stop focusing on the thoughts, and put all of your attention on feeling your body and breathing into it. Everything is temporary, and you can learn to be kind to yourself during the difficult moments - rather than hurting yourself further by growing the thoughts/emotions. This is how you truly take care of yourself and process emotions.
