04.01.2022 **Ancient History Alert** I’ve been helping out a friend who’s writing an article for the Australian Historic Diver magazine about the history of Sea Tite, a co...mpany I owned for a number of years with then business partner, Peter Emery. Sea Tite built professional underwater housings and lighting systems for all sorts of movie, video and still cameras. It wasn’t always smooth sailing but we did kick some serious goals in my time there. One of our projects around 1990-91 was a number of 16mm film and video housings used on the production of the Emmy award winning Wolves of the Sea a joint National Geographic /ABC production and narrated by David Attenborough. Some of the stuff we designed back then was cutting edge and highly specialised. Now, nearly thirty years later I’m still proud of what we made and what it produced for film makers David Parer and Liz Parer Cook in this documentary. I found it on Vimeo and we even have a credit at the end, so I'm sharing :)
