01.01.2022 I made some chocolate hazelnut bliss balls over the weekend! I was trying to emulate the ferrero roche flavour.. not sure if I did, but thats okay because these balls of goodness with no refined sugar were delish! The sweetness came from the dates, the crunchy texture came from chopped hazelnuts & almonds and the ingredient that pulled all those flavours together was the tablespoon of coconut cream I added.... Stored in the fridge, its a great little after dinner treat to go with your hot drink. Here’s the recipe: 12 medjool dates, pitted, halved 100g chopped hazelnuts 100g chopped almonds 1/4 cup cocoa 1 tsp raw honey 1 tablespoon coconut cream 1 tsp vanilla bean paste 1/2 cup desiccated coconut for rolling Method: 1. Place all ingredients in food processor. Blend until it becomes a sticky mix. 2. Take a walnut size amount out, roll to form a smooth ball then roll in desiccated coconut. Store in fridge until ready to eat.
