17.01.2022 Hi Guys, Just for your information! All brickwork structure MUST comply with Manufactures Requirement, Standards and Tolerance and AS3700-2011. The responsibility is on the Bricklayer and Builder if cracks occurs due to due to faulty workmanship...It will not matter if the Building is out of its Structural Warranty or not, a claim can be made against both parties.

11.01.2022 Lignin is the natural glue that holds the fibres of wood together and is therefore a major component of any wood. When the lignins is broken down or damaged the fibres then detach from each other creating a visible hairy surface to a section of the timber, as the delignification progresses the structure of the timber section is weakened and therefore Chemical Delignification is regarded as a structural pest of timber in service. Chemical Delignification seem to more prevalent with Terracotta Tiles and the telltale signs is moss on these tiles. if you think you have this...you need an Inspection...

05.01.2022 It seem to be a common issue in WA when constructing decking the so-call carpenter put the grooves/reeds up the wrong way. End results damage to the joist, bear and or decking due to Dry rot
