17.01.2022 We are SUPER EXCITED to announce that we are partnering with Alzheimer's WA this September during World Dementia Awareness Month Dementia is the second lea...ding cause of death of Australians. "I'm excited at the opportunity to be able to work with and fundraise for a cause I have experienced first hand. I lost my nan in 2018 to Alzheimer's and saw the impact this disease had, not only on her but also my family around providing care and support. I look forward to helping others living with Alzheimer's and those caring for them by giving them opportunities to get out and walk in nature." Betina Crooks - Director (Off The Grid 365) The details: 12 walking events of varying distances and locations Potential to raise over $90,000 for Alzheimer's WA There's plenty of ways to get involved: Enter an event Volunteer to help at the events Make a donation Find out more - https://www.otg-365.com/alzheimers Alzheimer's WA advocates, educates, supports and engages the 41,630 Western Australians living with all types of dementia. They are the dementia experts.

08.01.2022 Beautiful local walk along Blackwall Reach Reserve, and Point Walter Bushland, which is one of the many dreaming trails which run along the Swan. The Swan Rive...r is highly significant to the Nyungar people, as, in the dreaming, the river was made by the Waugal rainbow serpent (also the trail marker for the Bibbulmun Track - often mistaken for a snake) . One of the most prominent features of the Blackwall Reach Reserve is the limestone cliffs that rise eight metres out of the Swan River. Beautiful 4km walk with amazing views and cliffs. The cafe at Point Walter is open for t/w.
