23.01.2022 The big moment has finally arrived! Our first Inspired Adventure since March took off over the weekend, with six trekkers climbing Mt Kosciuszko to raise vital funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation The team visited Lake Cootapatamba, Australia’s highest lake, and passed beneath beautiful weathered snow gums and rock formations. 23.01.2022 How we love a sunburnt country. The wide open spaces, dramatic mountain vistas and fiery sunsets. It's why we keep coming back again and again to the Larapinta Trail, the spectacular multi-day hike in Central Australia that traces a path through the West MacDonnell Ranges. Have you hiked the Larapinta Trail? Let us know in the comments.

22.01.2022 Did you know 1.4 billion people live without a reliable access to energy? We might take advantage the ability to flick a switch, but for many children across Africa and Southeast Asia not being able to study after dark can significantly effect their education. Students can also be exposed to harmful toxic forms generated by kerosene to keep the lights on. Solar Buddy’s big dream is to gift six million solar lights to children living in energy poverty by 2030 and we’re with ...them every step of the way. Help us illuminate the future on our new Adventure For Light expedition along the Larapinta Trail, full details in the event below. https://www.facebook.com/events/984713365315899?active_tab=about

21.01.2022 This slice of paradise can be found just outside Alice Springs. Tucked into the folds of West MacDonnell Ranges, Ormiston Gorge is a serene place to stop for a rest, and perhaps even a quick swim. Would you take a dip or just soak in the beauty? : @wilmo_photo

21.01.2022 Breathtaking Mt Sonder is the highest point in the West MacDonnell Ranges and also marks the western end of the Larapinta Trail. It's a challenge to get to the top, but so worthwhile for a view like this. If you're planning to tackle the Larapinta Trail, check out our guide on what to expect on the Inspired Adventures blog:... https://inspiredadventures.com.au//insiders-guide-to-the/

19.01.2022 Did you know you can spot more than 180 different species of birds in Central Australia, including these little guys. Spinifex Pigeons are unique to arid parts of Australia and can be heard in the early mornings with their distinctive ‘coo’ sounds from our tents on the Larapinta Trail. : Earle Westbury... #IveBeenInspired #InspiredAdventures

17.01.2022 This #ThrowbackTuesday we’re looking back on the transformational impact of travel. Last year our Vietnam cycling adventures raised a staggering $863,648 for UNICEF! Those funds have enabled UNICEF to continue its life changing work looking after the wellbeing of children worldwide. And we couldn’t have done it without you, our inspirational change makers. Sit back, relax and enjoy this little walk down memory lane. Have you been to Vietnam? We’d love to hear what enjoyed ab...out it. For us, it was the delicious egg coffees in Hanoi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3t0pBZ01Bc

15.01.2022 Once the setting for one of the bloodiest battles for Australian troops in WWII, the Kokoda Trail today is one of the world's greatest treks. In November 2021, we'll be embarking on a pilgrimage to Papua New Guinea to retrace the path taken by the ANZACs and to support Australians living with mental illness. Here's a snippet of what to expect. Want to join us? Follow this link: https://events.inspiredadventures.com.au//blackdog-kokoda/... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9URmdzvgq8o

13.01.2022 B Corps (like us!) are a new kind of business that balance purpose and profit. They make decisions that make a positive impact across their workers, communities and supply chains. And you don't have to go far to find them either. From Keepcups to toilet paper, here are some great Australian B Corps you can support. https://inspiredadventures.com.au/our-favourite-local-b-co/

13.01.2022 Last September our inspiring team of change makers set off to China to trek the Great Wall and raise funds for The Black Dog Institute. Collectively they raised an incredible $207,043, which will go towards funding programs that provide young people with mental health support, and building a new positive psychology website, BiteBack. Well done to the amazing team, you’re an inspiration to us all

13.01.2022 The early bird gets the worm, as they say. Register by 18 September and you'll get $150 off the registration fee for our new Larapinta Trail trip supporting Trek4BrainCancer, departing 10 May 2021. Brain cancer kills more children than any other disease in Australia. It also kills more people under 40 in Australia than any other cancer. Yet very little is known about brain cancer, its causes or how to treat it. The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation is working hard to fund new research aimed at improving survival rates. Together we can help beat cancer and give patients more support. https://inspiredadventures.com.au/eve/cbcf-larapinta-2021/

10.01.2022 This World Tourism Day, we’re pledging to do more for the planet That’s why we’re partnering with Carbon Neutral to donate $10 from every booking towards the Yarra Yarra Project in South Western Australia. This area has been impacted by centuries of agriculture, with loss of vegetation and habitat for native species who live there. Together, we can replant trees that will not only draw carbon emissions out of the atmosphere, but promote biodiversity and give our wildlife a... chance to thrive. 09.01.2022 We all have a common good, even if we have different reasons to be here. Murray | Trek For My Rafiki | New Zealand So often what binds us together isn’t so much the place, but the reason we’ve come together. On all our adventures we see people united by a common goal or shared experience. We see cancer survivors showing the world they made it, and families and friends stepping up for those that didn’t. Passionate humanitarians raising funds for children most in need, or change-makers who want to support women in the criminal justice system. The causes are many, but the passion we see every day is inspiring. Tell us, what causes are you most passionate about?

07.01.2022 What words have impacted you the most? For our Founder and CEO, Justine Curtis, it was a chance encounter with Palden Gyatso, a former Tibetan prisoner, who has overcome an unimaginable amount of struggles in his life. At a crossroads in her own life at the time, Justine asked Palden for his advice. He clasped her hands and said: ‘Do dharma. Do good work. Be it.’... And from those words Inspired Adventures was born, with a mission to do good work. Justine shares more about how this crucial moment changed her life on newest episode of the Humans of Purpose podcast. You can listen to it here: https://shows.acast.com//180-justine-curtis-inspired-adven Tell us, what words of advice do you live by?

07.01.2022 We can’t travel the world just now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t bring the world to us. One of our favourite foods in Asia is the rice paper roll, which is so popular in Vietnam. They’re light, crunchy and popping with fresh flavours like mint, cucumber and chilli. If you want to try making some at home, we’ve put a step-by-step recipe on our website (purple flowers are optional). https://inspiredadventures.com.au//vietnamese-rice-paper/... Tell us, what's your favourite food in Southeast Asia?

05.01.2022 While it's the cause we're journeying for, it's these heart warming moments of inspiration that get us up in the morning. Tag the strong women who have inspired you, and let's keep supporting each other.
