25.01.2022 A friend of mine has had this big gorgeous pot sitting at her front door since we met. Every time I've gone there or driven past I've thought about the things I would do with it given the chance.. Well yesterday I got that chance I loved working on this arrangement. The plants are still quite small and some are only cuttings, so I'll be keeping a close eye on this beauty over the next few months. I can't wait to see how they all grow and establish themselves. 22.01.2022 I was never the biggest fan of cacti. I always thought they were spiky and ugly. Then one day I was gifted one and my opinion completely changed. I realised how amazing they actually are. I admire their will to survive, the way they thrive in the harshest of conditions and grow from neglect. They get bigger and more beautiful as they bloom each year, even though they have been through conditions most other plants wouldn't survive. Cacti give me hope, that no matter how hard t...hings get or the trauma you've been through, you can grow, thrive and even blossom into a stronger, more resilient, beautiful version of yourself.. Sure you might have some spiky edges and get some scars along the way, but that's what makes you you. 14.01.2022 Last night Kurt sat on my cactus. It seemed as painful as it sounds, it looked like he'd sat on a porcupine he did scream like a kid that's grazed their knees. I did remove the spikes from his butt after first checking my cactus was ok. In his defence, I could have found a better place to put it while it's recovering from a fungal issue. #buttitcouldhavebeenworse #thecactusisok #punintended
