24.01.2022 Dear friends, It’s been a hard few weeks. I’ve been waiting and watching this virus to see what steps I need to take to protect the vulnerable little babies I am privileged to work with. Non-essential business now restricted and tougher measures are coming into place each week. I feel it's time to act now! Capturing precious first memories in beautiful imaging is so important, however right now what’s even more important is health!... Right now the risk far outweighs the benefits. I’m now unable to accept new bookings until the non-essential business restrictions are lifted. The government estimates that this may be 6 months! These are the measures I need to take right now to protect the health of you and your baby. For those who have booked and paid a deposit/voucher but have not yet had their newborn session, you may have a refund or I can try and capture some photos of your baby down the track, such as a one year session. For those who are awaiting their purchases and final images. Bare with me as I get your order together, I will contact you with an order update very soon! I will post on here from time to time to keep you updated and when I feel the benefits outweigh the risk and bans have been lifted, I will let you all know when business is back to normal! I hope that is sooner than expected. Your support and understanding is appreciated during this really tough time. The main focus on my small business is primarily newborn photography due to the sizing of my studio because it's pretty cosy in there! Although Ive come from a background in neonatal intensive care, I still invest a lot of time and effort into my craft. 03.01.2022 My soul needed this today ... I wanted to remember the koala in a peaceful place surrounded by the things they love... so I painted this piece. I desperately wanted to say Happy new year on this post, but these devastating bushfires have left a sombering mood here in Australia. My heart hurts to think that our Aussie icons and numerous other wildlife are surrounded by anything but abundant greenery and life! But these catastrophic bushfires are ravaging our landscape..., killing our animals and creating hell on earth! They say almost 500 million animals have perished... Its a state of emergency here in Australia! Thank you for those on the frontlines working tirelessly to extinguish the flames and save lives! 01.01.2022 Hello friends, How are you all doing out there in this crazy world? I hope you are all safe and well ... My little business has been hit hard by covid-19 and unfortunately I am unable to do any sessions during this time. This business of mine is slowly recovering however I have lost my studio space and therefore missed out on capturing those special memories for you all! I am so sorry for this. I'm hoping to be up and running again as soon as possible, but during these uncertain times it's hard to know when. One thing I know for sure is that I miss the joy of capturing those new little souls who have entered this world! 01.01.2022 Something new is blooming Over the years it’s not only been a pleasure but a privilege to capture your most precious memories of your beautiful babies. However this glorious work was interrupted earlier this year, when a certain virus swept across the globe and decided to ruin a lot of nice things.... One of those nice things was my little studio in New Town! Since the studio closure in April it’s been very difficult to recover. On the flip side I’ve had plenty of time to n...ot only read the untouched books on my bookshelf, but reflect on my business journey thus far and where I want it to go into the future...
