So important to keep a good balance in your day, and very easy to slip into bad habits. Thankfully self care does not have to be all about going to a day spa and having a full day of pampering. It can be as simple as having a cup of tea outside in the garden, leaving all devices behind, and enjoying the fresh air.

19.01.2022 A gratitude countdown to Christmas 2020. Today I am grateful for the opportunity to rest and recover! My mind is weary and my body is tired as I navigate a painful flare-up of arthritis in my left knee. I have declared today a day of rest. Years gone by I would push through and not allow myself the time to rest. (Too busy, don't be lazy, keep up with everyone else were the messages playing in my mind) Now, I have better insight and listen to my intuition to know when rest is needed. And today is that day. Intuition is a powerful teacher.
