08.01.2022 I always get asked the question, "How should I arrange my clothes?" ... immediately followed by what they've tried: - by colour - by type... - by frequency of use - (no particular order, just whatever fits ) Most of them have merit, but the tried and tested method is to "keep the same category of clothes together". To create a system that's easy to follow, and help when returning things, I also suggest: 1 arrange clothing heaviest to lightest/longest to shortest so they rise to the right For example, start with hanging your long coats, jackets, and suits, then longer dresses, pants, shorter dresses, skirts, finished off with your lighter and shorter items, tops and shorts. 2 within that order, arrange from darkest to lightest in colour For example, gradually moving from your blacks to your whites.
