Since then, the world got hectic, Australia raged with drought and fire, we then had some flooding and now Covid19 has got us all in a global movement. Having a nap on the couch? Is there something you can buy him that enhances this experience for him? 2. When is Dad most happy?... What really lights him up? Working in the shed? Having a red wine? Playing games with the family? Is there something you can do to bring him that feeling? 3. Support local - WA is full of amazing, talented artisans and creatives - everything they create is always full of passion and heart. It often also leads to something unique and one of a kind... hello?! impressive. Bonus tip! Make sure you share any behind the scenes info about your gift with Dad. 4. Take the price tags off!! This is a pet peeve of mine... nothing takes away the shine of a gift more than finding a pricetag hidden on it. Remove that tacky thing. 5. 21.01.2022 At the risk of being controversial with this tip, but stepping into my vision as a business (and person) of making people feel special, I feel it is important to consider what Mothers Day can mean to some. Mothers Day is a beautiful time to honour the mother figures in our lives, however it can also be a time of reflection and sadness for others. The loss of a mum, the loss of a child, the ups and downs of the journey to becoming a mum... It can look different for everyo...ne. It may be you or someone you love. To pay tribute with Mothers Day coming up, I wanted to suggest a gift idea to use when trying to make someone feel special, send some love or spend some time in reflection yourself. My fianc and I rescued Lola from @dogsrefugehome a few years back, and she is the of our life. (After eachother of course... Maybe...).... Because these people have a dream and they are working their butts off to share it with the world... This takes hard work, bravery and courage. That is inspiring! At the moment, so many are offering personal deliveries, free pick ups (great way to meet the maker) and if they have a bricks and mortar store, they are open and waiting for you to visit. Normally these visits involve free parking, no crowds and big, friendly smiles. How amazing is that? By supporting local, you support a dream, a family, a person with a big heart. To me, that is a gift wrapped in love and good vibes - exactly what Mum needs.
