24.01.2022 When I hear Esperance, my first thought is of the turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. It is a pleasant surprise to now know you can swap the beach for the country. #regram Tribe Gone Travelling "It’s not easy to pull yourself away from the beaches when in Esperance but the local bird and animal park is definitely worth the visit and a place that deserves plenty of love. ... Home to all kinds of animals from bunny rabbits to Scottish Highland cows, this family-friendly park houses injured wildlife and releases them once they’ve recovered. You can feed the animals and fill your own belly with the cafe’s $10 all-day brekky The girls loved the hands-on experience even though we were warned on arrival about the spitting alpaca And yes, we did get spat at Back to the beach tomorrow " Esperance Bird & Animal Park . . 23.01.2022 I was honoured to be asked to write an article recently for Tribe Tropical's website. A mum entrepreneur with three darling daughters and a passion for sun safety, which is also something I value. Click the link below to read about the Queensland islands you can visit with your kids, including the big sandy playground of Moreton Island (pictured). https://tribetropical.com/the-best-queensland-islands-for-/... 22.01.2022 No one would deny that Victorian's have been dealing with tough times this year. It may not be over, but there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel with restrictions starting to ease. So when the borders are open, and everyone is free to travel, let's get back on the road and support this state. One of my bucket list road trips is the dramatic #GreatOceanRoad, where you can witness these rugged limestone stacks off the mainland formed 10-20 million years ago. T...he Great Ocean Road is one of Victoria's most scenic drives, but don't forget to explore the towns and villages along the way and refill your #emptyesky with culinary delights. 22.01.2022 Appreciating the little things. I’m grateful we live in an area where we can escape into nature, and one of the most popular Queensland National Parks is the Burleigh Head National Park. Burleigh beach beckons young and old, but the national park is equally popular due to its location. The Burleigh Head Ocean View walk wraps itself around the headland like a ribbon on a present. If you enjoy water views, return on the same track admiring Tallebudgera Creek or take a detour... up to Tumgun Lookout, where you venture further into the heart of the national park and have the best chance to spot whales offshore. . . #inspirefamilytravel #playgoldcoast #burleighheadsnationalpark #thisisqueensland Destination Gold Coast Visit Queensland, Australia See more

17.01.2022 In the school holidays, we took a trip to Toowoomba, Queensland Slightly under a two-hour drive from Brisbane spring had sprung in Queensland’s largest inland city, with the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers running the week before our arrival. Spread across the city are parks filled with manicured gardens and dazzling flower displays, but it is not only the parks that are a kaleidoscope of colour. The laneways of Toowoomba hold some of the best street art in Australia. ... 16.01.2022 Completely agree with this statement below, and what a spectacular place to visit with kids. #Kakadu National Park has one of the world’s greatest concentrations of rock art sites, with some paintings up to 20,000 years old. The main rock art galleries are at Ubirr and Burrungkuy (Nourlangie). #regram Instagram.com/life.in.olli "I know that travelling with kids has its challenges, but man, do they bring a whole new sense of magic to each adventure". ... 15.01.2022 If you‘re searching for a fantastic weekend destination, it is hard to bypass the city of Toowoomba, Queensland. No matter the season, #toowoomba is the perfect getaway location, but the most popular time to visit and for an added touch of magic would be spring. The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is held annually and reveals why this destination is affectionally called the Garden City. 08.01.2022 Today I am virtually transporting you to the beautiful #NewSouthWales south coast in the Eurobodalla - South Coast NSW region, situated adjacent to the Tasman Sea, stretching from South Durras in the north to the historic village of Tilba Tilba in the south. Immerse yourself in nature, discover the history and culture behind the area, and feast on local produce. 06.01.2022 I love that through every travel adventure; something can be learned. #regram Alittleatlarge "Stepped back in time exploring Elsey Station - the home of Jeannie Gunn, author of We of The Never Never.... It’s a replica homestead now, with memorabilia (mainly from the movie), sharing the story of a time when the Australian outback wasn’t considered a place for women. It also recounts Jeannie’s battle with the indifference the early settlers showed to the traditional owners of the land and her own experiences (it’s an autobiography) overcoming the prejudice shown to both herself and the Aboriginal people to embrace friendship, culture and learning the outback way of life" Elsey Station . . #inspirefamilytravel #NTAustralia #elseystation #tourismtopend

01.01.2022 Located at the top of the Whitsundays, Bowen offers visitors incredible beaches (eight to be precise) and lots of outdoor activities, including sailing, fishing, walking tracks, golf, and bird watching. It is one of the few places that you can snorkel off the beach and see the living reef with some of the best fringing coral in #queensland only metres from the shore. For a history jaunt, Bowen also has you covered, since it is Queensland’s oldest town, with a long and ...colourful past. Oh, and it is also home to one of Australia’s big iconic features The Big Mango. Have you visited Bowen, or is it now on your list?
