19.01.2022 We are very excited to welcome 3 highly qualified practitioners to Inspire Health Albury. Osteopath, John Baker was the pioneer of Osteopathy in our region. John began Albury Osteopathic Clinic 30 years ago and has mentored many of the osteopaths in our area. Osteopath, Suzanne McCleary began Osteopathy in 1982 and has wealth of clinical and teaching experience. She has also contributed to our profession with her presence on our national professional board for Osteopathy.... Myotherapist, Christian Trebley has been trained by highly skilled Myotherapist’s and Osteopath’s and has gained high level of knowledge and experience. Christian also has skills in cupping, gua sha, dry needling and exercise prescription. We are excited to incorporate these practitioners into our clinic as they come with years of experience and a high level of skills which will allows our Inspire Health Community to have greater options for treatment in our regional setting. 12.01.2022 We welcome Shelby to Team Inspire Health Albury! Originally from Narrandera, Shelby is now in her final year of studying a double degree in Bachelor of Health Science and Applied Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT University in Melbourne. We are excited to announce that Shelby is doing clinical placement at Inspire Health and will be joining our team as a full-time osteopath in 2021. Her interest in osteopathy started after seeing how treatment helped her father with a low back c...omplaint. During her studies she has learnt about anatomy, biology, chemistry, neuroscience, biomechanics and osteopathic techniques. She has completed a years placement in the RMIT student clinic where she treated a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. On the weekends you’ll find her out and about exploring new sights, playing sport such as AFL or netball and taking care of her plants. Shelby is now taking appointments during her clinical placement at a great rate of $35 for an initial consultation and $25 for a subsequent consultation. 08.01.2022 We love it when Alf this gorgeous service dog visits with his dad. Service dogs are trained to assist with psychological conditions such as PTSD, autism, physical conditions and give emotional support. Some dogs have an intuitive ability to do things like help people in distress, aid movements or relieve stress. When Alf’s dad is face down having a treatment at Inspire Health, Alf sometimes gets a little worried and walks over to our practitioners to say hey... just back ...off a bit alright. When Alf’s dad reassures and we are on the good side, Alf gives us a friendly lick on the hand and walks away. Our receptionist Kim couldn’t resist a play with Alf after his dads treatment. 07.01.2022 We welcome our new Massage Therapist Ashlee Featonby! Ashlee has a diploma in remedial massage and has 3 years industry experience. She has worked in multidisciplinary clinics, along side other health professionals and also in the spa industry. Ashlee is trained in Remedial Massage, Sports Massage, Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian massage), Reiki, Hot Stone Massage and Chinese Traditional Cupping as well as Myofascial Cupping. ... Ashlee’s favourite thing about massage, is the ability to look at the body as a whole. From emotional blockages to trauma and musculoskeletal issues. Her massage style underpins her belief that the body is connected as a whole and has the capacity to self-heal given the right guidance.
