25.01.2022 As always the extraordinary Brené Brown explaining how vulnerability is not weakness, but crucial for connection with self and others. Enjoy
22.01.2022 This is a wonderful article on anger, from a Stoic perspective. Anger is a powerful and necessary emotion... however, it needs to be used as an indicator of something wrong, and NOT a driver for action. Essentially, self-awareness and human fulfilment results from using reason and logic to decide our strategies and actions... and never anger. ... That path leads to attack and counter-attack. It can dehumanise the other and rarely leads to understanding and resolution. Enjoy
21.01.2022 Welcome to 2021... here’s a brief & hopefully helpful interview to start your new year. Enjoy https://omny.fm//got-a-new-years-resolution-maybe-you-need
21.01.2022 This is just extraordinary and a wonderful message. We are human, we will feel strong emotions, and WE are responsible for managing them... just exquisite
19.01.2022 This is extraordinary
19.01.2022 Truly gorgeous.... we do indeed create our own lives.
17.01.2022 This is exquisitely beautiful in so many ways... Firstly - acts of kindness always give and give and give, so much more than we expect. Secondly - we never truly know how much impact we have on other people with our kindness and compassion. ... Always choose kindness, compassion and connection.
16.01.2022 This is truly exquisite and beautiful. Enjoy
16.01.2022 Nothing more to say other than... you are loved
15.01.2022 This is truly quite gorgeous, but it’s not relevant and necessary just for young girls, but for everyone. We can all embrace the various aspects of ourselves, our feminine and masculine sides. We all have both and it’s so important to acknowledge and utilise both. We can all be; strong and soft; glamorous and scruffy; athletic and stylish; whatever we choose. ...
14.01.2022 This is a straightforward and very helpful article. Enjoy https://twitter.com/inc/status/1190099441329614849?s=21
13.01.2022 This is, as always from Tom Bilyeu, absolutely outstanding. Full responsibility for self means becoming anti-fragile... as he explains below.
11.01.2022 Not much more to say
11.01.2022 Oh my... this is exquisite
11.01.2022 Squeal... back in my happy place, ready for a day of mentoring with the leaders at South32. I’m honoured to have the opportunity to work with people so committed to improving themselves and their teams. Love being a Leadership Mentor.
07.01.2022 This advice is as good as it was 4 years ago. To find meaning in life you need: 1. A sense of belonging ... 2. Working on your purpose 3. Storytelling - sharing your life through narrative 4. Awe inspiring experiences. Truly wonderful stuff and can be achieved by simply walking in nature with a dear friend or loved one. Enjoy
06.01.2022 Some staggeringly beautiful words and wisdom from a wonderful teacher and Medicine Woman/Shaman, Dawn Dancing Otter... her definition of enlightenment. "It's love, the kind that is 'no matter what'. It's love, the Verb. Singing out loud when the rain is falling, or when the ship is sinking.... It's love, the Warrior. The one who will stand in certain peril and not move. The one who will run tirelessly towards us, and with us, and sometimes carrying us. It's love, the Widow or Widower. The one who remembers and weeps, and laughs, and risked loving fully in the face of loss to carry the remembering. It's love, the Father. The one who nods and smiles mischievously when he sees his wee ones finding their way. It's love, the Mother. The one who will bring water to a fever, who will sit through nights, holding us close. It's love, the Child, who is sure that God is more visible in a flower petal, in the eyes of a spider, in the tail of a dog, in the splash of a puddle, than ever could be in a book. It's love, the Lover. The one who risks being naked, entwined. It's love, the Human. Because it is easy to love like the gods, the goddesses. They are amused by our stories, but carry no attachment. They don't believe in death, so there is no grief to bear. They risk nothing in their offerings. It is nothing short of the sword of grace that humans love in the promise of loss. Again and again." I believe this to be true. We are love, we are sacred, beautiful, extraordinary and human. This is life.. this is Being
04.01.2022 Oh gosh... this is exquisite. Enjoy
04.01.2022 This is such a beautiful and heart felt post. We are all gorgeous, wonderful and flawed Beings... we all make mistakes... we all have the capacity to be unkind... we all sometimes fail to be the best version of ourselves. It’s called being human. ... And self-awareness means taking responsibility for who we are... so when we fail to live up to our values, let’s be kind to ourselves and others. Apologise and do better next time. Simple... and beautiful
01.01.2022 Oh my this has me crying with joy... this is precisely why I adore Dr Jordan Peterson, a man encouraging all of us to take full responsibility for our lives. A man who simply advises us to look within and find out who we are, and then be the best version of us that we can. A man who advises that before we start blaming others or daring to assume we have all the answers for the problems in the world, we heal ourselves. ... And it works... I know. 01.01.2022 Oh my... what a beautiful memory. What a gracious, compassionate Being. We find ourselves when we give to others and embrace our shared humanity.
