16.01.2022 THE MANY MOODS OF OUR WOODSHED. Our woodshed was made from all reclaimed material including a silo cut in half for its roof top. You can find a few very cute outbuildings made from all recycled material dotted around our ridgeline at Inspiring Views B&B, Artisan Homestead. Wow! What a review from Michael, I was looking for a nice place for an overnight stay, what I found was something I wasn’t expecting. The drive out of Wodonga, the short climb and the long farm driveway all... serve to prepare you for an incredibly surreal and beautiful experience in a lovingly handcrafted home built from materials reclaimed from an old church. When you finally reach the home atop a hill, you are greeted with majestic 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside, offering gorgeous vistas in both day and night. Margaret greets you with a warm smile and welcomes you in like part of her family. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about a stay here as the bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas are first class in a rustic, old world way. An incredibly warm and comfortable bed ensures a great nights sleep and the breakfast nook on offer does not disappoint. I wish I could offer a greater rating as I believe this beautiful location to be a must visit for anyone travelling through or to Wodonga. You have to be silent and quick with your camera to capture them unless of course they are our plentiful and bold kangaroos or our happy abundant birdlife. Our numerous nocturnal creatures are even more challenging to capture unless you have a good night camera and patience. Recent 5 star review from Karen. This stunning property provided everything you could want for a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. The room was beautiful and a delicious breakfast was provided that you could eat on your private balcony. You can stand in your private outside shower while enjoyi...ng the views. The bed was very comfortable and the room decorated with old world charm. The owner is an amazing artist and sculptor and as you walk through the gardens you can see all her work. There are so many reasons why you should stay at Inspiring Views mainly because it's more than a holiday, it's an experience. 'This place is beautifully peaceful although only a few minutes out of town. this place has so many places to sit and enjoy the easterly view over Wodonga or to the west over the valley. 01.01.2022 INSPIRING FRIENDSHIP Huge thank you to 2 awesome friends who looked after my B&B while I was away for a month. That's one hell of a friendship gift for which I am super grateful. They did such an amazing job so how funny that in the following review, I still get most of the acclaim even though they did all the work! I knew I was leaving my place in very special, capable hands so I could relax. 'Driving to Margie’s place on the top of the hill will leave you breathless. Simply... the most spectacular views of both the hills and the town, and if you’re lucky, a few roos too! We started to relax the second we arrived - the beautiful view, delightful gardens (decorated with Margie’s artwork) and the homestead just makes for a perfect getaway. Waking up in the morning, you’ll have just the best view of the valley with hot coffee, a snug dressing gown, and seeds to feed the birds who are more than happy to put on a show for a feed! Be sure to spend some time in the gardens hunting for Margie’s beautiful artwork, and make sure to try her oatmeal crunchies!. Thank you for a really special two nights.
