21.01.2022 The Institute for Respiratory Health would like to express their condolences to the family of Kanti Bhoola, who passed away recently. Kanti (pictured right) joined us in 2010 as a senior scientist, as his daughter had taken up residence in Alice Springs. During his eight years, he enthused the Institute with his passion for kinin research. His co-authors included Professor Philip Thompson and Drs Svetlana Baltic, Neil Misso and Mirja Fogel-Petrovic. He was a popular member of the Institute and possessed a quirky sense of humour whilst retaining an unrelenting passion for science. #respiratory #science #health #medical #asthma #lungcancer

20.01.2022 We wish everyone a safe and happy Easter break, knowing we have all worked really hard to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Please stay safe. #stopthespread #keephealthy #socialdistancing #coronavirus #covid19

20.01.2022 Have you got a story to share with us? Carol recently shared her story with us: Carol loved working as a nurse, but when she was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) she had to retire early. Since then, she’s committed to helping improve the lives of people with lung conditions. She hopes her knowledge and experience will help make a difference in lung health research. We'd love to hear from you, please message us directly if you're interested #shareyourstory #lungdisease
