MORNING COLD SHOWERS Lawns can dry out very quickly in summer. ... Watering during the heat of the day will just lead to moisture loss through evaporation and watering warm lawn and soil in the evenings can create humidity that contributes to fungal diseases. So water in the morning i.e. anytime between 4am and 10am, to re-hydrate your lawn and soil and charge it up for the day ahead. To save water and get the best results from the water you apply water less often but more deeply by running the sprinkler for a little longer. Use a sprinkler with coarse droplets and apply a soil wetter suitable for lawns. #happydays #lockslawnmowing
