24.01.2022 Last week I was called out to a home that was suffering from a major black ant infestation. The resident informed me of how over the last few weeks these ants had been making nests in her shower and she was just sweeping them up. Upon arrival it was very clear that we werent dealing with black ants but infact a severe case of termites! As you can see these Heterotermes (termite species) have been nesting in the bottom of the shower and tracking along tile joints and cornices throughout the home, as the conditions here are perfect.
