25.01.2022 We believe a full life involves freedom of movement. Freedom to explore what your body is capable of. To feel the pleasure of doing what you once thought impossible. To overcome mindsets and barriers holding you back. No doubt the path isnt a cakewalk but is it worth the risk? What have you got to lose? #mindset #fullness
25.01.2022 Its easier to make progress externally once youve made progress internally. If youve hit a roadblock with your rehab, look at your internal beliefs, attitudes, and motivations. What ground can you take to live from the inside out? #mindset
24.01.2022 Though this was quoted in 1949 our neurological make up remains the same. Our brains are like hardware that is modelled by our repeated thoughts and actions. Making healthy little choices build this infrastructure that is foundational for habit formation. It gets easier to keep these habits precisely because you become efficiently wired to keep them. Stay tuned for a whole lot more practical tips in forming habits to build health and wellness whilst having fun along the way. #habits #mindset #physiotherapy
24.01.2022 Simplicity is beautiful. Our bodies were made to move. When we live fully we move freely. When we are content to simply be we find that the journey is so rich and rewarding. Take your time, explore your movement, be free in this adventure we share. #free #adventure
23.01.2022 Thursday Tip: How many goals do you have? 1, 5, 10? Do they compete with each other? How much time will you need to allocate to ensure you reach them? Perhaps you could try this little trick: start with your big, overall dream of where you want to be - what does it look like, feel like, go into it like a fictional character in a book. Then create your path by creating systems that serve the purpose of staying on track. Aligning goals and systems, ensuring they are all in sync with each other will help stop the accidental self-sabotage. #habits #mindset
23.01.2022 Dont ever give up! Its the tough times and harsh conditions that shape us. If you dont currently see the way through, know it exists. Think of all the people who have overcome the unfathomable. Little by little, step by step, keep on going. #grit #vision
22.01.2022 Storms will happen. You may be injured. Recovery may seem longer than you thought. But within these storms there is a way through. People have done it before us and people will continue to do it after us. Find your Way! #journey #mindset
19.01.2022 Your soul matters as much as your body. They love to be in sync with each other. When people are happy, they move! When they are down, their posture changes. What/who brings you consistent joy? Notice what happens to your body when your soul is alive. #joy #move
19.01.2022 Monday motivation: When taking on a new health habit, consider how you will go the long haul with it. A little planning about when you will implement it is key. Do you have the resources, time, and support that you will need to overcome the barriers as they come up? If you see and plan for these issues ahead of time, your success if more likely. What is your process when you look at adding a new routine into your health regime? Love to hear from you!... #monday_motivation #habits

17.01.2022 Strength Saturday: Strength & conditioning training is a key aspect to overall fitness. But many feel that they need to work at an unattainably high intensity each workout to achieve benefits. Whilst effort is important, you first need to be in the practise of just showing up time and time again. Then you need to be flexible enough in your approach to adjust the workout depending on existing injuries, symptoms, hormonal, and other stress factors. Continue to move forward, be gentle with yourself, and let your inner motivation guide you. #strength #flexibility
17.01.2022 Monday Motivation: With all that is happening we need to guard closely our mental wellbeing. Movement in all its forms presents a wonderful way to unwind and clear your mind. With so much of your brain being connected with movement it can go along way to improving mood, boosting feelings of wellbeing, and generally feeling clearer. #mental_wellbeing #movement
16.01.2022 What would happen if you changed the lens of how you saw recovery from injury or illness? Much more than positive thinking is the confident expectation that comes from knowing how our bodies work and heal. The resilience that can be built as we face challenges with new mindsets and attitudes. Always take hope for your journey. #mindset #overcome

15.01.2022 Dont forget to watch over your heart - your thoughts, mindsets, beliefs, and attitudes shape your experience and outcomes. Lifes battles are real and they can be overcome but we must learn to take care of our inner wellbeing as much as we do our outer wellbeing. #heart #mindset

13.01.2022 Getting where we need to go always involves a series of steps. Nothing worth building ever happened quickly or without careful attention. Keep going, build up your health step by step, one foot after another until you get there. #resilience #longevity
11.01.2022 Im not against goals, but they are not enough. There are winners and losers in every race - but all are aiming for the same thing. So what is the X factor? Stay tuned... #habits #mindset #physiotherapy
11.01.2022 As a chronic overplanner and over thinker I have found comfort in the fact that taking a step is often the best plan. Often injury can lead us to feel defeated - but keep taking steps to rebuild! #recovery #mindset
11.01.2022 The small steps arent inherently attractive. They dont draw attention to themselves. In themselves they dont make a huge difference. But they are the fundamental key to realising dreams. Consistently taking one step after another will get you there. Keep going towards your destination - you will get there providing you keep at it! #mindset #motivation
10.01.2022 I want to encourage you to give yourself permission to get out of the rat-race. Doing more and more exercise to achieve multiple things with a deadline of yesterday can be stressful! Stepping back to find your fit and fine tune your focus can put the zest back into your exercise. It becomes a refreshing and rewarding thing. Go with desire not guilt #motivation #exercise
09.01.2022 Dont wait until you understand everything about movement before you return to exercise. That part comes later. The main issue is to take the next step - it doesnt have to be big, just the next one ahead of you. If you wait for the perfect exercise or perfect therapy (which doesnt exist) you wont get to where you need to be. As you move more, you will grow in your understanding of how you move, which will help you become more efficient as you go along. No progress without practice! #practice #exercise
09.01.2022 It’s tempting to think that with time anything will heal, but this is only one of the factors in the equation. Without a good treatment plan that regularly builds upon the loads your body can handle you will only go so far. This is good news for those who have had an issue for a long time - it means that there is a path, you just may not have found it yet! #keep_looking #grit #mindset
09.01.2022 Our options are vast when it comes to our health, and there are many good things for us to do. However we can get lost in the busyness of trying to do more than we have time for and end up achieving less than if we had set our focus to the things that gave us steady gains. #focus #exercisemotivation
09.01.2022 Encouraging everyone to stay connected whilst upholding social distance measures. Please support the wonderful work Body Truth Nutrition is doing for our community.
07.01.2022 Starting up your exercise program, fitness habit, or anything for that matter is usually the easy part. Your excitement carries you, your motivation is high and your expectations are full of hope. This is good! But to truly achieve long term gains you will likely have to confront certain barriers - pain, injury, finances, health, stress, tiredness, etc... Planning HOW you will attack these things ahead of time is a good move! Overcome those barriers! #mindset #motivation
05.01.2022 Play is so important in movement and exercise! #seriousfun

03.01.2022 There is a way to go before we get to where we are going. Tomorrow will have its own challenges. Just take the step in front of you and make it count. They all add up. #stepbystep #mindset
03.01.2022 Sometimes recovery from injury is straight forward and at other times the road seems full of snares. Be assured that even in those foggy times the path still exists. Its easy to look at the fog and lose hope. But remember how far youve come, remember where youre heading. Feel the ground under your feet and you just might find that familiar friend hope fuel you for the journey. #recovery #mindset
03.01.2022 Our mindset can make us or break us. Hope is fuel for a sound mindset. With hope our mind more easily sees the best in each situation. It frees us to safely walk through lifes challenges. It says, this is possible. Our experience of pain is given a meaningful context and quietens confusion turning the why mes? into whats next? #mindset #hope #recovery
02.01.2022 Hope is so important to grasp when facing challenges, hardships, illness, and injury. Sow hope into every situation and you will reap the rewards. It is not idealistic but quite tangible if you train yourself to walk in it. #hope #motivation
02.01.2022 We believe that healing takes place where there is authentic connection. Successful therapy requires listening, feedback, and empathy. The journey truly is better when shared. #connection #motivation
02.01.2022 Continuing on from the last post, I believe that one of the secrets to realising a goal is to celebrate each small step. To focus on the pathway and not only the end goal. To have a process. After all it is the very series of small steps you take that make up the long road. Some steps may be more challenging but each are important. Long term thinking values the steady gains, the incremental progress, the steps taken when it would be easy to give in to boredom. Keep taking one step at a time and you will see the fruit of your efforts. #mindset #motivation
