25.01.2022 NYE makeup inspo! Same technique, different V I B E LOOK 1: Brown Halo Eye Mix of light, warm and dark browns on the inner and outer part of eye. I pressed a shimmery bronze shade through the middle of the eye. ... Tip: For a more flattering halo eye, direct the shimmery shade upwards in a diagonal position, going towards the tail of the brow. This helps to elongate the eye by drawing the eye up and out LOOK 2: Pink Halo Eye I blended a peach, pink and a red shadow for this look! 21.01.2022 Let' talk about the H word! Hydration can make or break your makeup, and also impacts how your skin looks and appears without any makeup on. If you have dry skin, use a matte foundation (or powder over the top) and haven't used good prep-products for your skin = Your makeup will result in dry, cakey, dull and older looking skin. ... Also even without makeup on, your skin can look dull, flakey and aged if it doesn't have enough hydration. Here's some tips + products to get your skin glowing DO: Opt for a hydrating base, like @bobbibrown FaceBase which acts as a moisturizer + primer in one Use a more dewy or hydrating foundation, like @nars Sheer Glow or @hourglass Illusion Tint Use a hydrating spray before + after application of makeup - For added versatility, use one that also acts as makeup setting spray! I personally use and stock the @ocosmedics O-Biome Hydrating + Makeup Setting Spray in my salon Highly recommend this spray and it's a staple in my own handbag. Don't be afraid of trying a face oil! Try mixing a few drops of @goto face oil with your foundation or press + massage it in to your face and neck for radiant looking skin! DON'T: Use matte foundations Apply powder all over or use too much Apply too much foundation product in places where you have fine lines or lots of dryness - Buff your foundation into your skin for a flawless finish Home care products are so important - Ensure you use a good quality product range and stat consistent. I had to create a look that would: ... - Suit BOTH dresses - Suit Bec + her personality - Suit the wedding theme - Create a look that Bec would love and adore To do this, I used mauve + maroon tones throughout the eyes as this would make her eyes pop. When she wore the white dress, the tones would add depth and when she wore the traditional dress, the hues would match. I also used a rose gold pigment to compliment the shadow tones, both dresses and also not make the overall look to harsh or 'stark' like using a silver or pure gold would! Interchange a pinky-nude lip for a bolder lip suited to your dress and you have a new look! 07.01.2022 Hi! I'm Casey, the owner of instil. I've had my biz for 5 years now - Although I still work full-time so I can only commit to bookings one day a week, being Saturdays!
