24.01.2022 With the crazy weather we are having here in Melbourne it is probably a good time to remind everyone about the benefits of sealing the ends of your timber cladding and other external timbers. Sealing the ends will stop moisture from getting into the end grain and rotting out your timber. Dont forget to seal the ends you cut as well, a lot of people forget these. By doing this simple task you will protect the timber and not have to replace timber any sooner than truly nee...ded. Tilt and Turn windows are very clever design, which allows you to open your window in 2 ways rather than the standard 1. This pictured window is made from New Guinea Rosewood, which is used more up through Queensland and Northern NSW. I...t is starting to become better known here in Victoria, especially for windows.
