Sponsored by a global environment group and health promotion charity, The LEAD Group Inc, entry to the prize is FREE. All you need do is create a digital image that illustrates a lead-safety message. The artwork can be created using any artform; painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital graphics, ceramics, collage, photography, Photoshop or anything else. Some example...s of lead poisoning prevention messages can be found at http://volcanoartprize.com/lead-safety-themes/ or you can write your own lead-safety theme to go with your artwork! Themes can be as simple as "Use lead-free art materials" and as long as the artwork is made with lead-free art materials, any artwork could illustrate such a simple theme. We've been working in homes being renovated even a hotel, new homes under construction, Transgrid Stations and some just wanting a good clean and new insulation to add extra comfort to their homes or before moving into their newly purchased haven. We're in different league of Olympics and our team hasn't let up with their workload. Jobs well done guys, you all deserve Gold Medals

They did a great job cleaning out the roof space and installing downlight covers and new insulation. There were 8 gigantic bags of stuff taken out. Insulvac came out on time and I now have a clean roof cavity but more importantly there are proper downlight covers for safety reasons. 06.01.2022 Toxic dust extraction It is important to have your roof vacuumed and toxic dust extracted from ceilings when: - your home has a damaged or collapsed roof from a storm or high winds - you are renovating or extending your home... - you are adding skylights, electrical cables or attic ladders - your ceiling is damaged or cracked - you carry out any work in the ceiling HEPA FILTRATION SYSTEMS HEPA filters are used as part of our vacuum filtration systems. The HEPA filter traps the fine particles of toxic dust, chemical pollutants, asbestos particles and even the dust from mite faeces that can trigger allergies and asthma symptoms. HEALTH AND SAFETY Lead can affect anybody, but children under the age of four and pregnant women are most at risk. Lead can affect children by causing learning and attention problems, hearing loss, slowed growth and behavior problems. Lead can affect adults too. This is an important program in the wake of the Mr Fluffy incident where over 1,000 homes were affected by asbestos risk. Now anyone with loose fill insulation in a wide range of Local Government Areas can apply to have their homes tested. I am now tempted to build an attic room, as the space seems so clear and clean! I feel so much better knowing that there is no longer that toxic dust above our heads.
