12.01.2022 Integra had the privilege of attending the Australian Spirit Family Fun Day, Art Studios Cooperative at The Entertainment Grounds in Gosford yesterday.This event commemorated the WW1 centenary and united our community in support and recognition of Australian Defence Force veterans and their families. Integra is very thankful for being given the unique opportunity to attend such a special event. 06.01.2022 Last year The Rotary Club of Morisset member Sue Hooper, as partner to then Rotary District Governor Graham, began a project to raise funds for Integra Service ...Dogs Australia. Integra dogs are provided to veterans and first responders suffering from PTSD. Sue's project is continuing through this Rotary year. While Morisset Rotary members were in Morisset Square on the weekend selling tickets to our amazing 12 Days of Xmas Multi Draw raffle (https://www.rafflelink.com.au/12daysxmas) a beautiful Integra dog was spotted quietly waiting while the owner was using an ATM. The dog is called Digger and co-incidentally was one of the first Integra Dogs that Sue was given information about when she started working with Integra. The first photo is Digger at Morisset Square and the second is of a younger Digger in specialized training. If you would like to help Integra Service Dogs Australia to train dogs to support our veterans and first responders, you can donate at https://isda.com.au/donate/ Sue would really appreciate if you note (Rotary) when donating via the website. And keep an eye out for Integra dogs but remember, they are working dogs so please dont approach or pat the dogs, regardless of how lovely they are.

This fantastic organisation is one of four across Australia that prov...ides assistance dogs to veterans who have returned from service and are struggling to help them along their road to recovery. Our veterans have dealt with a lot during their service and sometimes they need a helping hand when they return home. Dogs like Winston and Hooper provide comfort and support to those veterans to help them deal with any anxieties and pressures they’re experiencing.
