25.01.2022 2020 has been an emotional rollercoaster which can bring a sense of overwhelm when trying to process the events we've been experiencing here in Canberra. If you would like to seek support to find your balance in these difficult times, please reach out to family, friends or your counsellor.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, in light of tonight's announcement, I need to review and seek clarity from my association in relation to my continued practice. Your health and wellbeing remains my primary concern and I need to better understand how I can best continue to support you. I will be making a decision about the immediate future of my clinic and will notify you by Thursday 26th March. Robyn

19.01.2022 This is how I'm feeling right now... a sense of connection to my community

17.01.2022 The rain has come to Canberra and the East coast. Whilst its slowly extinguishing the fires that have raged around us for months, we are still a community sitting on the edge. We continue to try and process the enormity of what has happened and work towards how we can each actively support a brighter future; for us, our children and those who are yet to come... A thought that may bring hope, "Beginnings are often disguised as painful endings." (Lao Tzu), here's to our new beginning

15.01.2022 The ACT appears to be doing really well with our lockdown and transmission rate, leading me to consider there's a pathway forward to support a safe return to practice. This is how it may look: Covid-19 positive cases stay below 1% in ACT, 1 hour appts with 30 minutes hands on only, 1/2hr btw clients to ensure a thorough clean and one person in the room with me at all times. I'm also only offering Saturday's as its quiet in civic and I'll reconfirm a few days b4. I'd love to h...ear your thoughts? 13.01.2022 Living with chronic pain (+3mths) is especially difficult as its not, usually, visible. This can make living your life both isolating and limiting in your relationships and aspirations. Integrated therapies approach utilises counselling and soft tissue therapy to support and promote health and well-being for your physical, mental and emotional health. Step back into your life and step forward into achieving your goals.

13.01.2022 Hi everyone, how are you going in isolation? Have you discovered your favourite netflix show or 2? I hope you are still moving, connecting to those you love and being kind to yourself. Today the government announced another 4 weeks of social distancing which prompted me to say hi, check in and let you know I'm extending my hiatus from the office for another 4 weeks, till mid May. However, I'm still working and available via zoom consults. I've been busy providing counselling support and developing exercise/stretching programs which have been productive, supportive and motivating for all. If you'd like to connect, I have Saturday appointments available. Please let me know and I'll help you with the next steps... thinking of you all and looking forward to seeing you soon, regards Robyn

10.01.2022 Dear clients, It is with both a mixture of sadness and optimism that I send this message... As I watch the daily news unfold, I am feeling the weight of responsibility to support my client's best interest whilst my unease grows daily about the associated risks of leaving their home to travel to see me. ... There are so many opportunities between the home and my office where I can't guarantee safety and, in this light, I have decided to change the way I practice for the next 4 weeks as I close my practice at Garema Place. I am spending the upcoming weekend researching safe online options to provide counselling support, stretching and exercise programs, stay tuned. In the meantime, I am still here and together we will work through this and come out the other side. I am optimistic about the future of our community and I hold this thought as a light to guide us as we work through the challenges ahead. Warmest regards Robyn
