If you are interested in being considered for periodic fieldwork and associated reporting roles then you are invited to send in a CV and cover letter addressing the following requirements: A minimum honours degree in arch...aeology with majority subjects covering Aboriginal heritage; Demonstrated experience undertaking Aboriginal cultural heritage surveys with Aboriginal traditional owners and associated reporting using excellent and concise written communications (heritage assessment reports, cultural heritage management plans etc); Demonstrated practical, working knowledge of heritage legislation requirements, particularly for WA and SA; Willingness and physical ability to work in remote locations and flexibility to undertake reasonable durations plus a demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety; Positive interpersonal skills, ability to problem solve and think strategically, work individually or in a team and generally have a good temperament; Holding of a current Australian driver’s licence. Also, desirables are: Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID003), 4WD certification and experience, Construction White Card; Knowledge and experience in using GPS, DGPS, ArcGIS Collector; Membership with Australian Association of Archaeologists (AACAI). Remuneration will be based on qualifications and experience.
