24.01.2022 I am just letting you all know that I will be planning to make my super concentrated vege stock paste in June/July. At this stage I will be trying for June as preference The cost of organic produce has gone up quite a bit since the bush fires and the heat of a long summer in QLD I will continue to keep the price the same and will not ever cut corners on the produce I purchase even with the price rise in recent months. Every jar is made with nourishing goodies and Love L...ove Love <3 I've been out of vege stock paste for 2 months now and have missed it at times I've made gravy or a lamb crock pot. This time of year I don't use as much anyway due to frequently eating salads Please comment below if you would like to order vege stock paste. Custom orders available for allergies ;) 700 g jar filled to the top pictured below $40.00. Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas only!!!

24.01.2022 Ladies if you want something really special for Christmas from your hubby, boyfriend, partner than I suggest cooking this in the next 5 days before Santa comes This is easy peasy to cook! Yesterday I put a shoulder piece of Lamb in the Slow Cooker on low temp with 4 sprigs of Rosemary poked in the string ;)... I let it cook all day. In the afternoon Ted and I went to the movies. When we got home it took less than 20 mins to serve this nourishing meal ;) 1/4 Cabbage. 1/2 a Large piece of Broccoli. 1 Large Zucchini. 1 Large Brown Onion. 2 Cloves of pressed Garlic. 2 Tablespoons of Tapioca. 5 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil. 1 Tablespoon of Vege Stock Paste. I sliced up the Cabbage whilst the cast iron pan is heating up, I diced the Onion finely, I cut the Zucchini into bigger pieces and I sliced the Broccoli. Once the cast iron pan is heated with the Coconut Oil I threw in all the ingredients and cooked for a couple of mins - not to long to make the Broccoli or Zucchini mushy. I took off the heat and pressed 2 Cloves of Garlic and stirred through. When I started prepping the veges I took the Lamb out of the slow cooker and placed on a plate and turned the slow cooker up to high. The Lamb will leave you the best pressi in the bottom of the slow cooker - liquid for gravy. Add 1 tablespoon of vege stock paste - Salt and Pepper to taste and thicken with Tapioca Flour. Serve the veges, slice up the Lamb and ladle the gravy over the top and wait for your other half to compliment you for an amazing dinner hey Ted Worley <3

23.01.2022 Merry Christmas Integrated Wellness For Life <3 My little spin on Jo from Quirky Cooking's Rocky Road. I did Jo's fluffy marshmallow!... I reduced the honey in the marshmallow to 100g instead of 200g. I added 1 cup of activated almonds - place in Thermomix, speed 4 for 10 seconds to chop them. Alternatively, you could use a food processor or the end of a rolling pin. Make your own Chocolate (DOUBLE THE RECIPE) 1 cup of organic cacao. 1 cup of cold-pressed coconut oil. 1/4-1/3 cup of raw honey - (you choose) I use 4 tablespoons for a double batch - 2 tablespoons for single batch. 10 drops of dõTERRA Tangerine, Peppermint, Ginger and Cinnamon, Wild Orange (my fave), Geranium, Bergamot, or Spearmint Oil or for the chilli lovers just add some organic chilli powder of your choosing ;) Whizz in Thermie speed 6 for 10 seconds and pour over the Rocky Road. You can also simply stir all ingredients together without an appliance too. Make sure to keep stirring so the honey doesn't sit on the bottom of the bowl, stir as your pouring to evenly distribute the honey. I pitted 10 organic Medjool dates and sliced. 1/2 cup of mixed organic dried fruit - I used sultanas and blueberries. I sprinkled organic desiccated coconut on top. This is optional - I wanted some snow for Christmas so this is as close as I will get This is our Christmas dessert and holiday treat You don't have to compromise taste to make real food with real ingredients, instead of nasty synthetic chemicals, additives, and processed sugar. Quirky Cooking's recipe for the Marshmallow. https://www.quirkycooking.com.au//easy-marshmallows-honey/ I added 5 drops of Hoppers Pink food colouring to the marshmallow in the last 20 seconds in the Thermomix. Ted Worley <3

21.01.2022 3 months ago this coming Tuesday Ted Worley moved to the Sunshine Coast from Pennslyvania United States of America Ted weighed in at 139 kgs - 306.443 pounds I can't share all of his story as it's not mine to share, however, I can share a big portion of it with you! The rest Ted may share in the comments ;)...Continue reading

20.01.2022 Look at this transformation 6 months ago Ted weighed 133.81 kgs - 295 pounds Today Ted reached the goal weight that he planned to get to before our trip to America next week ... Ted weighed 110 kgs this morning 242 pounds He ultimately wants to lose another 10 kgs - 22 pounds I am so proud of him <3 Ted only has 3 medications to ditch now. He already has been able to stop taking 9 tablets a day (6) different medications He hasn't taken any lotions, potions, pills or any other weight loss products to lose the weight ;) Nothing artificial, chemical or processed food-like products from a box or packet were consumed #organicfood #intermittentfasting 2 meals a day. #exercise #paleo #chiropractics No gyms for hours a day. All Ted did was bike riding and walks with me

19.01.2022 Monday nights are my fave night of the week <3 Ted and I enjoy dinner with Annette. We come down to her if she is cooking and or Annette comes up to us ;) Hannah has a sleepover Monday nights at her carer's house which gives Annette the chance to have a break ... Tonight I cooked Pork Belly with steamed broccoli and beans. Roasted pumpkin, sweet potato, potato, beetroot, carrot and onion and made my vege bone broth gravy that I don't need to thicken This is not keto-friendly but as always it is Paleo ;) the prices of keto veges at the moment have gone up due to the weather and fires :( I simply can't pay $7.50 for a cauliflower that is barely big enough for one meal for Ted and myself. My philosophy around food is to always eat #realfood ditch the processed foods and don't eat out of a box. Not one thing in tonight's meal was either of those I am more conscious to not eat as much when I do have veges higher in carbs but I'm also not the scale watcher either Over the past 3 weeks Ted and I have not exercised as much as we usually do. #noexcuses although this past week hasn't stopped raining and although lots of walking was done in Melbourne for our week away a lot of time was spent on bums watching Tennis IF YOU NEED TO EXERCISE TO KEEP YOUR WEIGHT DOWN.....YOU'RE NOT EATING RIGHT!!! In this past 3 weeks, Ted lost 2 kgs not exercising much and I lost 1.5 kgs and that was eating much more carbs than I would have liked in Melbourne #intermittentfasting #portioncontrol #dontsnack #eatlotsofgoodfats #fatisyourfriend This vege gravy in the pic below has "all" of the fat that came off the pork in it yum yum ;)

18.01.2022 You can have dinner for brunch Who has ever had dinner for brunch? ;) A huge part of my passion for food is making food taste amazing. #simple #real #food #uncomplicated ... I think there is a misconception of how long this all takes and so people run to the nearest of conveniences instead of cooking nourishing food When I was a child my mother made me a vegemite sandwich with cheese on white bread every day of my primary school years except on Friday's, I got curried egg and lettuce. I was never ever satisfied or full from that sandwich! I hated it, loather it and dreamt of having a simple chicken salad with homemade dressing ;) how crazy right! When I was so young, but I believe God gave me that passion right from the start of my early childhood This meal here was prepped and cooked in under 30 mins #freestylecookingwithKath no recipe lol ;) I just made it up as I started to cook the sausages 6 Paleo/Chorizo Sausages from Queen St Meats ;) (best butcher on the Sunshine Coast) 2 large Zucchini's grated. 3 small Carrots grated. 3 full Celery stalks chopped. 1 brown Onion sliced. 500 mls of Organic Chicken Broth. 4 tablespoons of Organic Tapioca Flour. 1 green Apple sliced. 5 tablespoons of Coconut Oil. 3 teaspoons of Organic Curry Powder. 1 teaspoon of Organic Cumin Powder. 3 teaspoons of Organic Tumeric Powder. This is not Keto-friendly due to the Carrots and Tapioca ;) Firstly I cooked the sausages. I then took them out of my cast iron fry pan and cooked the onion with the coconut oil. Whilst the onion was cooking I grated the carrot and zucchini, sliced up the sausage, celery and apple. I then threw those ingredients in, added the herbs and salt and pepper to taste and last but not least the broth. I only let in cook for approx 5 mins so that the celery was still crunchy. Once I was happy with how well it had cooked I thickened it with the tapioca that I mixed in a small amount of water first. Ted loved it so much he may or may not have had 2nds

15.01.2022 Do you love Salad? I grew up with salad only consisting of chunks of cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce and french dressing What I love most about salad is you can put just about anything in it. This was dinner for Ted and I 2 nights ago ;)... The list of ingredients: Cabbage. Celery. Cherry Tomatoes. Cucumber. Red Onion. Cos Lettuce. Smashed avo with garlic and doTERRA Lime oil. Boiled eggs. Roasted Chicken Breast. Olive Oil. Salt and Pepper. No recipe needed. Just chop chop chop and mix it all together Do you add vegetables to your salad? I love to add raw Cauliflower and Broccoli - Keto friendly veges. Roasted Capsicum is also delicious - be careful not to over cook. Also roasted pumpkin (not Keto friendly) Try adding some activated nuts and seeds for extra crunch and protein - watch the amount for carbs if on Keto ;)

15.01.2022 The past 2 days have been so much cooler yay. After brunch earlier at midday I asked Ted if he wanted to have custard. I realised he has been here for 5 months and not had my custard Well it got the thumbs up approval from Ted I added some organic mixed berries on top ... Kath's Custard. 300g activated almond milk. 3x medjool dates (organic) 5x 60g eggs. 50g arrowroot flour. Method: Pit dates. Put dates in Thermie. Speed 10 for 5 seconds. Put all other ingredients in Thermie. Speed 4. 7 minutes. 90 degrees. Serve eat and enjoy

15.01.2022 Hello Integrated Wellness For Life peeps, Long time no speak. I am in America now. Will share more in another post soon. I hope you have all had an amazing Easter <3 ... Make your own Chocolate for Easter without all the "junk" 2 cups of Organic Cacao. 2 cups of cold pressed Coconut Oil. 2/3 of a cup of raw Honey. 30 drops of dõTERRA Wild Orange Oil. 8 Medjool Dates chopped roughly. 110g of Activated Sunflower Kernels. Pitt and chop the Medjool Dates roughly and place in any baking tray with parchment paper lining the tray. Melt the coconut oil, add the honey and whisk, whizz or blend together. As you are blending it - add the Cacao slowly. Once blended all the Cacao - pour over the Dates. Sprinkle the Activated Sunflower Kernels over the Chocolate and then place tray into the fridge or freezer. Next day - cut the chocolate to whatever shape and size you want and place in a container and put back into the fridge or freezer. Enjoy and send me pics please. This is nourishing chocolate. Additive, Preservative and NO nasties that will satisfy any sweet tooth My Easter pressi to Ted <3

11.01.2022 Don't be afraid to eat (I mean it) you will not lose weight starving yourself. I tried it back in the 90's for all of 35 seconds and just couldn't do it Ted rode 30 miles yesterday - 48 kms his goal he had been working towards for a couple of weeks This morning another 20 km fat burn ride with me made Ted a hungry hippo ... If you're doing the exercise make sure you're eating enough and make sure to eat loads of fat ;) This brunch is: Scrambled eggs cooked in coconut oil. Tomato. Grilled mushroom. Leftover roast Chicken and Lamb Cutlet. Leftover salad with sausage from yesterday. Chicken Bone Broth gravy from last nights dinner. Fried onions in coconut oil. Coconut oil on everything Left overs are a great way to use bits and pieces in the fridge to make a yummy brunch - and we all know that gravy tastes waaaaaay better the following day ;) Do you love leftovers for breakfast the next day???

09.01.2022 Hey Everyone, I know I've been a bit AWOL again :( sorry. It's been an eventful time since arriving in the US of A on the 5th of March! Ted had a heart attack on the 31st of March. This was his 2nd one this year. The first one was in Australia on the 15th of January. Both times he died and his devib brought him back. There were some issues with Ted's devib, the Specialists decided a new one was in order. Ted had surgery for a new replacement.... I've been sharing our adventure here in the US on my personal profile. I've take pics of some food I've made. Ted did me a video which I will post when he is feeling better. Today however he isn't well. Ted has a fever that Kath is monitoring very closely. Fevers do not scare me. Fever is when your body temperature rises because of an infection. Fevers are caused by chemicals called pyrogens flowing in the bloodstream. One purpose of a fever is thought to be to raise the body's temperature enough to kill off certain bacteria and viruses sensitive to temperature changes. I've had literally 100's of fevers in my lifetime. When Zach was 5 he had a fever of 41 degrees C - 105 F. It lasted 6 hours. I applied Peppermint oil neat to his feet every 15 mins as well as other immune oils for that 6 hours through the night - no sleep for this Mumma. I kept him as hydrated as possible and wiped his body with a wet face washer. 3 am that night the fever broke and Zach fell asleep. He woke at 6 am the next morning as bright as a button. This Mumma wasn't though lol from just a few hours sleep. The best thing for fever is DON'T EAT!!! Drink as much filtered water as possible. For the super keen and cooky's like me there are 2 other methods that will get rid of a fever super fast. 1. Giving yourself an enema. I usually give myself one with 2 litres of warm water - 67 ounces. This eliminates any toxic waste in the colon that will alleviate your temp. Ted is not ready for an enema hee hee. 2. A Chinese method of healing my naturopath taught me many moons ago. Wash or boil a sheet (queen-size) at 90 degrees C - 194 F and spin-dry it not completely dry but not dripping wet either. Wrap your naked body in the wet sheet and then wrap a "wool" blanket around you and lay down. Within 3 - 5 hours the fever will break and the sheet is completely dry. I used to do this method before enemas. Now I just do enemas. It's going to be a quiet day here, it's very overcast outside. Besides my wellness knowledge of what to do with a fever as soon as the fever breaks Ted is off to the Chiropractor. Heads up - I'm not freaking out it's the virus! Fear not for I am with you says the Lord! I will not bow down to FEAR EVER!!! Have a super day everyone <3 P.s Ted succumbed to the enema - guess who's temp has come down hee hee ;)

07.01.2022 Make your own Chocolate 1 cup of organic cacao. 1 cup of cold pressed coconut oil. 1/4-1/3 cup of raw honey I now use only 1 tablespoon of raw honey to keep it low carbs and sugar. ... 10 drops of dõTERRA Tangerine, Peppermint, Ginger and Cinnamon, Wild Orange (my fave), Geranium, Bergamot, or Spearmint Oil or for the chilli lovers just add some organic chilli powder of your choosing ;) Whizz in Thermie speed 6 for 10 seconds and pour in molds or baking tray of choice. You can also simply stir all ingredients in together without an appliance too. Make sure to keep stiring so the honey doesn't sit on the bottom of the bowl, stir as your pouring to evenly distribute the honey <3 Enjoy and send me pics please. This is nourishing chocolate. No Additives and no nasties that will satisfy any sweet tooth I made this bark Chocolate for Ted to woo him hee hee about 2 months ago ;) I added 1 cup of mixed berries, blueberries and raspberries before the end of the season, I cut up 10 medjool organic dates and I added 1 cup of crushed activated almonds. This was a double batch and I only added 2 tablespoons of raw honey with organic desiccated coconut sprinkled on top. Ted loved it <3 Pop in the freezer until hard then cut or break into pieces and store in the freezer ;)

06.01.2022 Brunch So simple but oh sooo tasty. I fried the bacon first in lots of coconut oil, mixed with the bacon fat (YUM)... Cooked the fried eggs in my 2nd cast iron pan in some of the bacon fat. Whilst the eggs were cooking on low heat I stirfried 1 brown onion sliced, 1/2 a small cabbage, threw in some fresh rosemary sprigs from Annette's garden and at the last minute put Annette's fresh spinach leaves in (4) Salt and Pepper of course was added. Ted loved it

05.01.2022 This meme is very personal to me! Why?!?! because for many years I self-medicated with food. I overate due to habitual habits from being served large portions of food as a small child. I never felt real hunger until my mid 30's. I always ate to much at every meal. I gained a lot of weight and at my heaviest I was 107 kgs which is 235 pounds :( I still clearly remember going into Big W to purchase a size 18 pair of jeans ... It took years of personal development for me to change my mindset around food. I ate when I was depressed and that was a lot in my 20's. I also didn't eat the right foods back then so ultimately my health paid the price I was a very sporty child and teenager. I played Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Power Walking, Bike Riding, Softball, Athletes - and cross country Running At break times and lunch at School I played Soccer or handball with the boys ;) When I left School I did Aerobics for a few years and Dancing the dancing was at nightclubs which was 2 -3 nights per week for a minimum of 6 hours. I was very trim back then....the weight started to come on at 21 with the diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue and Celiac Disease. The rest of the story is long - the journey I faced, the demons I faced with food, depression and anxiety. I was my own cheerleader which made it very hard at times to not fall off the wagon which I did many times.... Only in the last 10 years has my love of exercise returned. My love for power walking is my first love and now bike riding with Ted. Not many will power walk with me these days due to how fast I walk. I don't think I realised that until Ted told me Having someone to share that love of exercise with is very important to me. Even though Ted to lost his exercise mojo for 20 years it's back. Ted played American Football Basketball and Track Ted was an excellent sprinter. His fastest time ever recorded was 10 flat for 100 yards I knew with some encouraging Ted would get his exercise mojo back. Just this week in 5 days Ted has riden 160 kms - 99 miles What is your fave exercise? Whatever you do just keep moving

04.01.2022 These drugs right here are now what Ted Worley is NOT taking In 3.5 months Ted has lost almost 20 kgs - 44 pounds, he no longer eats grains, legumes, processed foods or dairy, he eats a Paleo/Keto lifestyle that is completely spray-free and or organic <3 Visible differences are the obvious loss of the spare tyre Ted carried around his midline. His skin is clearer, eyes bluer, he has a lot more energy, sleeping better and his lower back is so much stronger too ... If you plan on making a New Years Resolution make the one to choose your health in 2020 You won't regret it....Ted is turning 60 on the 9th of June you can start at any age to take back your health. Ted feels years and years younger and looks it too Share with me your New Years Resolutions for your health journey Happy New Year, may 2020 be your best year yet. Yours in Health and Wellness, Kath x

03.01.2022 Infared Sauna ;) I love love love them. Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you. Instead, they use infrared lamps (that use electromagnetic radiation) to warm your body directly. 20 percent of the heat goes to heat the air and the other 80 percent directly heats your body. Infared Saunas use infrared panels instead of conventional heat to easily penetrate human tissue, heating up your body before heating up the air.... You will: Sleep better. Feel Relaxed. Detoxification. Weight Loss. Relief from sore muscles. Relief from joint pain such as arthritis. Clear and tighter skin. Improved circulation. Helps people with chronic fatigue syndrome. Drink water Make sure you’re hydrated before going into an infrared Sauna. Drink a big glass of water before your session. You can also bring water into the sauna, especially if you’re sensitive to higher heats Choose the temperature. The average temperature for an infrared sauna ranges from 37 degrees - 100 F, 65 degrees to 150 F, with beginners starting out at the lower end and more experienced users at the higher end. If it's your first time, start at 37 degrees - 100 F. You may want to stay at this temperature for a few sessions. You can always increase the temperature each session until you reach 65 degrees 150F. For first-time users, start with 10 to 15 minutes. You can add time each session until you reach the suggested time of 20 to 30 minutes. Saunas come with a timer, so make sure to set it. If you want to go more than 30 mins drink plenty of water. Ted and I sit in the Sauna for 60 mins at 42 degrees 107 F. Listen to your body and when you feel you have had enough get out. Sometimes I go out for a quick cold shower to cool down for a few mins and go back in. You don’t want to stay in there too long and risk becoming dehydrated. Listen to your body always! Ted and I drink at least 3 Litres during the day of the Sauna session. I've been using Sauna's for years now so it's easy for me to have a good sweat for an hour. How you dress is your choice. Some people will wear swimmers while others prefer to go in naked. I wear underwear and bra. Ted just has underwear on. You can relax, read, meditate, pray, listen to music, or chat in the Sauna like Kath does lol Just don’t go to sleep After the session is over, take your time and let your body cool down. Once cooled down, take a shower or bath. Just make sure you are drinking plenty of filtered water You can have infrared Sauna treatments three to four days per week. If you are healthy and tolerate the four days, you can use the sauna daily!

02.01.2022 The UGLY truth about Vicks (an oldie post) It's Winter in the USA and thought my US fam would appreciate this post ;) Vicks:...
