18.01.2022 Self Sabotage! Self-sabotage is very common, but most people are only aware of it when it becomes so unbearable that the pain of being our worst enemy, it is more excruciating than the fear of moving out of our comfort zone. I had many plans in my mind for my business, but I kept procrastinating by enrolling to more courses, engaging in relationships that did not serve me and keeping my life so unintentionally busy.... I just kept talking to friends about my projects, getting passionate in our discussions and then saying yes to other things that prevented me from following my heart desire. I felt frustrated, I blamed others and felt constantly ashamed. I become a bitter woman. I had a subconscious belief that doing what I love was not available to me. I believed I was just supposed to support others dreams but never mine. My subconscious mind instructed that if I had what I wanted; it was going to be very dangerous. I had learnt it as a little child that if you do what you want, you are going to be punished for being selfish. The wrong assumption I learnt as a child was surprisingly still embedded in my subconscious mind 50 years later. What I learnt in the journey to freedom is: Self sabotage runs subconsciously. It feels like an inner war inside our heads. The subconscious is protecting a limiting belief so we don’t get hurt. We are adult now. Let’s just ditch it. Until we have awareness of the impact it has in our live and take responsibility, it will continue to undermine us. Getting rid of self-sabotage, it is easy and it is fun. More importantly, we have the right to live without being weight down by our toxic limiting beliefs. You are awesome!

16.01.2022 Overcoming procrastination #2. Do what you don’t like to do and do it first. I used to totally hate admin work. There was always something more pleasant and enjoyable to do.... I would even go a clean the house, cooking biscuits and doing gardening instead of getting my admin work in order. It was the perfect excuse: I need to work in a clean environment. I was Always finding excuses that didn’t make me feel so bad for procrastinating admin work. In the meantime, paperwork was pilling up and I was finding it more painful to do and even more excuses to leave it for tomorrow. In reality, we all have things we don’t like to do, but we do need to get over ourselves and just do it. This is how I overcome procrastinating admin work: As most successful people do we must do what you don’t like first thing in the morning and get over it. Give the task a short period of time ( 30 minutes admin ). Make sure they are not interruptions during that time. Direct your mind: I am really enjoying doing admin first thing in the morning. I feel so freeing afterwards! Share with me: What don’t you like to do and keep procrastinating? How are you going to schedule it? Share your thoughts!

14.01.2022 Overcoming procrastination #3. Too big to handle! I noticed that the most common and impactful procrastination I see in my clients is when the task that needs to be completed is too big and the fear of failure paralyses them.... One of my clients had a great training project and kept procrastinating the launch . Subconsciously she believed that it was such a huge endeavor that was going to take time away from her family and was going to get her back into stress and anxiety. We work on the subconscious blocks that were sabotaging her success and removed the fear of rejection and the limiting belief that she was not enough .She was now free to tackle the big project with few strategies I would like to share with you here: When you have a big task or project, evaluate the difficulty of the task as well as the progress. Break it into small parts and focus in the journey. Make sure that by evaluating its progress you make necessary changes in your priorities. Regulate your emotions: have specific daily habits to keep your grounded and practice techniques to manage negative emotions, anxiety and stress. Have a supportive environment: choose 4 people who will support you through the journey. They may like to be a part of an accountability group to meet weekly to support each other. Who is in your support team?

11.01.2022 Overcoming procrastination #1. When are we most likely to procrastinate? I want to share with you some of the actions I install subconsciously to my clients to eliminate procrastination.... I like to work with the subconscious because it is a lot easier, faster and sustainable to reprogram our mind with a personalized recording that allows them to enjoy while they are resting. My client had committed to change jobs and find a company that will allow her to take a leadership responsibility. In order to move to the next level, she needed to do some research and finish her masters. Unfortunately she will come from work feeling tired, hungry and alone and as a result would just order take away and engage in a more pleasant task by spending hours in U-Tube instead. As you may imagine she felt extremely angry with herself the following day. Lets be aware of: 1-Your impulses may win you over if you feel hungry, angry lonely or tired. Clam down and attend to your emotions to avoid procrastination. 2- when you feel the temptation of doing something more enjoyable, be aware of your behavior and observe not only your actions but also the thoughts and emotions that generate those actions. 3-Instruct your mind what you want: I want to work in leadership. I love to focus on the next stage of my career. There is nothing more important for me right now that following my dreams.I choose to do my research.I feel fantastic. I am awesome. 4-Visualize the successful outcome. What do you want to achieve in 2020? Drop your answers on the comment section below.
