07.01.2022 Karen has over 38 years of nursing experience including healthcare management in both public hospitals and the aged care sector. She has tertiary qualifications in nursing administration and training and assessing. Karen has managed five aged care facilities which included the successful commissioning of an aged care facility in Port Macquarie.... As well as a passion for aged care management, Karen is also passionate about education and has taught Certificate III/IV in Aged Care and First Aid. She has also taught undergraduate registered and enrolled nurses at TAFE and University.
