Monday January 4th current timetable resumes for adults except this Monday night Combatives and Tuesday night Boxing as Dave is away this week Monday January 18th all kids classes are back on current timetable. ... I got to see some of my clan for the first time in a year or two and some fun had, especially with present giving and stealing game. 08.01.2022 BJJ & NO GI GRAPPLING unite this Wednesday from 7PM. Ground techniques and takedowns will be done in both formats to adjust to the points of difference, and then a open mat afterwards. In the early days of learning Shootfighting it was a common thing to have a judo or hapkido gi top and Muay Thai kickboxing shorts, and when it got too hot or drenched in sweat just loose the top and keep going no gi so it’s great that these days rash tops means no chest hair in faces. Although we are open Thursday on Christmas Eve until 9pm, this will be a great nights training fun mini event. Non members $20

07.01.2022 I ran a combo BJJ gi and No Gi Grappling with wrestling techniques and then with BJJ tops on for points of difference which was a great session, and then this happened after some of the BJJ Advanced crew turned up to help me surprise Bryan Arber with his well earned blue belt. Bryan is also a black belt in traditional Jiu Jitsu and years of experience in other martial arts too. Bryan was doing most of the BJJ, kickboxing and Combatives for a year or two and then with norm...al life and work commitments went to a once a week membership and a open mat a month for 2 years then back to unlimited class pass membership this year. Bryan is one of the reasons we have the Base 6 membership offer over the last year. Yep, life stuff and training can still exist together and achieve goals, even when acknowledging the journey is longer. I’m also proof of that with a lot of life stuff happening in the 20 years to BJJ black belt, and I still thought I needed another year to get to what I physically couldn’t do for years from tradie back and knee issues. Train for longevity, train because it’s a awesome challenge, and train with Integrity! Well done Bryan you legend!!

01.01.2022 Have a great Easter break Integrimaniacs!!! We’ll be back on Monday for a midday open mat, and 6pm open mat to kick off the week chilling and choking each other. All normal classes resume from Wednesday including kids sessions over holidays.

Basic interview stance to defensive frames, arm drags, two on one control arm wrap, slap stunner, to creating distance to diffuse as a warning shot rather than just go from zero to hero.
