Hopefully, you are making some time to keep informed about the current situation and then most importantly, shutting off some of the negativity and getting the most out of your day. Even if the most you can do is, by comparison, nothing then that is good enough. My tips for keeping on top of things include:... Eating well Restful sleep Exercise Keeping well hydrated Enjoy some quiet time Of course, there are many more, but most of all, BE KIND. To yourself and to others! 21.01.2022 Stage 4 Update (Friday 7th August) Thanks for your patience during this confusing time. We will have a couple of changes during this 6 week period which will include reduced hours in the clinic. Please keep an eye out for emails and updates here as we move through the 6 weeks.... I will aim to contact all patients over the next couple of days to reschedule appointments where needed. Rest assured, that if you need care, you will still be able to get care. 16.01.2022 UPDATE We have some uncertainty still around whether Chiropractic care will be affected but this latest rounds of lockdown here in Metro Melbourne. If you have an appointment on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday of this week (6,7,8th August), and you would like to bring that time forward to Wednesday, please contact me ASAP.... I will be opening up my usually closed Wednesday morning for anyone that wants to get in just in case we need to close. Unfortunately, Wednesday PM is pretty fully booked. Thanks Yes, we are still open during Stage 4 lockdown here in Melbourne, however, there are some changes to normal Routine and non-urgent care should be deferred if it means there is no deterioration to your condition or if delaying your care would have an impact on your physical or mental health. If you have any doubts as to what this all means, please give us a call at the clinic (9331 7791) and we can further discuss your options. PLEASE NOTE - Do not delay your care if you are in pain or if you are not sure. Call!! We will help you with this. Lastly, If you happen to be outside the 5km radius you are still allowed to come to your appointment. Your normal continuation of practices that include movement, diet, sleep and taking care of your mental health alongside your regular Chiropractic care, are just as valuable to your health as being aware of the current situation. 04.01.2022 Experienced Chek Professional, personal trainer and holistic lifestyle coach, Tanya Carroll, has been working from home coaching her clients online during the covid lockdown period. However, this week Tanya returns to Integrity Chiropractic coaching clients face to face. During lockdown Tanya turned her love of coaching people into coaching people across Australia and the globe online, in easy to digest, 1 hour workshops on the topics of pelvic floor, core musculature and wom...en’s health during and post pregnancy. She also launched her very successful online training program Primal Core, which is now a continuing program. In this pivot Tanya was able to bring forward a long held dream to help eliminate the confusion and the myths that surround pelvic floor and core health, in an industry that has been focused on aesthetics rather than true function. In her practice over many years, Tanya has found that one of the questions new clients asked was ‘why is my pelvic floor not improving’ and the shame in admitting that the exercises they were previously given simply did not work. A question that is quickly answered in the first few weeks of training with her. Tanya’s expertise in the human body extends to her extensive knowledge of corrective movement and care of the muscles of the back. This is a complimentary practice to Andrew’s chiropractic care in that she is able to help Andrew’s patients improve their core and lower back strength.
