09.01.2022 INVESTMENTS - one thing that we love(/hate when in the thick of it) to do on the side of business are investment properties. This is our most recent to hit the market. We kept it simple by doing the basics (renovators know nothing is ever basic) but we tried to do the minimum. We’ve learnt a few things along the way, from experience and from others (thanks Kate and Lee) the biggest learnings are: ... - know the market and have a good realestate agent @robbiewitt_ngurealestate has been our go to! - know your numbers (budget everything including stamp duty, taxes, real estate fees etc) - Try and keep it simple, plumbing in the same spot, not knocking through walls etc sometimes you can get the same return by just doing the bare minimum - reuse things where you can to cut costs or find second hand bargains on market place or gumtree.
