25.01.2022 The MAIT Industries CR-X (Cable Replacement System) is bi-directional, meaning it can transmit a remote signal in both directions. Say for example, you are starting a remote pump with an output on your web-enabled centre pivot controller (first direction). You could then also receive a run signal from the pump back to an input on your pivot controller (second direction) confirming the pumps operation. In fact the CR-X system has two channels in both directions, so you could also return a fault signal from the pump to the pivot on the second channel.

23.01.2022 Save on pumping costs by running your pump at a lower pressure when your pivot is down-slope. The CR-T unit with a pressure sensor mounted on the end-tower transmits the lateral line pressure to the CR-R at the pump station which then reproduces the pressure sensor value to control the pump.

The standard tank monitoring kit includes several spare inputs and an output, making it simple to add additional sensors such as rain gauges, electric fence monitors, or cameras. Additional units can be networked into a single system.

15.01.2022 We have added functionality for tracking hard and soft hose irrigators to our iTrackers. Multiple hydrant locations can be set up in the software and applied to a satellite image, the irrigator will automatically appear in the correct paddock position and indicate distance from the end-of-run. The user can be notified by email or SMS if the machine becomes bogged or loses water pressure.

11.01.2022 We recently built this Cable Replacement unit with a manual timer for one of our dealers that needed a semi-automatic telemetry system for a transfer pump. Other applications for this unit include dairy effluent pumps and hand-shift irrigation systems. As with all our field units, this timer unit can be mains or solar powered. 10.01.2022 One of our W.A. dealers recently installed 75 tank monitoring units on a cattle station in the Pilbara. The tanks are spread across an area of over 2,000 square kilometres, and use our standard radio units to communicate back to the computer at the homestead, where each tank is represented on a graphical display. 08.01.2022 iNTELLiWEB now allows your notification (alarm) trigger points to activate an associated output (eg pump) during a user defined time-slot. This is used, for example, to refill a stock water tank overnight using off-peak power. Multiple trigger points and time-slots can be configured for a single sensor or device. In the below example, the tank fill pump is allowed to run between 11pm and 7am when the 50% trigger is reached, or between 2pm and 6pm if the 30% trigger is reached. IEC is becoming a key component of irrigation best practice, and is also being used as a measure of good governance in food production.
