25.01.2022 We are taking a car load of donations to the drop off point on Saturday afternoon. We have purchased bags of kangaroo food and animal milk powder. The rescue centre has indicated that they need the following items: Sheets, towels, quilts etc for animal bedding ... Animal electrolytes Dog and cat food Wombaroo food products for various types of animals Animal Bottles and teets Di-vetalac powder Medical supplies Gift cards to purchase general items If anyone would like to donate please drop to the tennis centre by Saturday morning and I will drive it up Saturday afternoon

Adults join in a lesson and look at our range of programs. 15.01.2022 The easing of the restrictions has not changed our current tennis situation. Currently we are able to have a maximum of 2 people on a tennis court at anytime. This means private lessons and court hire are allowed. As restrictions ease further we will post here and send emails to customers. We will continue to provide the safest possible environment for our customers.

07.01.2022 Hi All, I have decided to make a very tough decision and close down the Tennis Centre until this situation settles down. I have always said I would close when schools were closed and that is now happening. I would like to thanks everybody for their support of our club. I will be posting some challenges on Facebook for all levels to help our kids stay active. To see our posts please like our page "Intennis Burpengary".... The first challenge will be set on Monday. 07.01.2022 We have spent the last few days visiting villages and schools in Papua New Guinea, donating much needed school and sporting items. Today Wade had so much fun having a hit with the kids there.

03.01.2022 Urgent update to our operating conditions. The QLD government has a amended the restrictions on Tennis Facilities. We are now only allowed a maximum of 10 people on site. Therefore a majority of the programs we have scheduled will need to be modified. Please hold off payment of term 2 invoices until we have a new schedule. Tennis QLD is meeting with the QLD government to appeal this decision, fingers crossed the decision will be overturned. Below is the email received from ...Tennis Queensland last night. URGENT UPDATE | Change to the 10 per court rule Dear coaches, On Friday night, the Queensland Government released a roadmap to easing restrictions, and these were communicated immediately with everyone. Today, without any consultation with us, we received confirmation from the Queensland Government that the gatherings restriction has been updated and tightened, effective immediately. Please note this change restricts any tennis venue from having more than 10 people on site (including indoor and outdoor spaces) at one time. The changes can be read in the governments updated FAQs document, which explicitly references tennis venues. We have updated our Return to Play Roadmap, outlining how these restrictions need to be applied. Tennis Queensland has a responsibility to inform you of this latest health advice from the Queensland Government, you are required to abide by the public health orders, ensuring the protection of the community. Tennis Queensland is here to help you work through these changes, and understand the inconvenience this change will cause in the short term. We would like to reiterate this change is beyond our control. Today we submitted a request for an exemption for tennis, and we will continue to work closely with the Queensland Government over the coming days. We will update you immediately of any changes.
