Together with mum you embraced every challenge that was thrown your way. You provided unconditional love and support.... You never stopped believing. You went on to have two more daughters. You sacrificed your established business and career to leave it all behind and move continents to ensure you gave our older sister every opportunity to thrive. There was no internet, no LinkedIn, no Facebook or any support networks to help with your decision to establish yourselves in Australia let alone finding out about special education schools at the push of a button, and in lightning speed! But together with mum, you made the transition and gave our sister a future - one that has never been denied of an opportunity to experience life. From multiple extra-curricular activities to overseas adventures and the chance to live independently. Today you are still making sacrifices to ensure our incredibly beautiful sister is happy, safe and is given every opportunity to embrace her life and thrive. One year ago we made the difficult decision to close our doors, not knowing what the future would hold for Interaxcity, as the pandemic swept across Australia. Whilst it has been the most challenging year - three lockdowns later, an 8 month closure and three re-launches within 12 months of opening - our purple door is still open thanks to the support of each ...and every one of our visitors.
