25.01.2022 We pay our respects to the traditional custodians, their elders and ancestors of the lands, which our organisation sits. Today marks the final day of National R...econciliation Week in 2020. The theme for this year In This Together is a reminder that whether in crisis or in reconciliation, we are all #InThisTogether. This week is dedicated to encouraging all Australians to learn about our nations shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. We must continue striving for reconciliation so that we can strengthen the relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. If you would like to know how you can show your support, visit https://nrw.reconciliation.org.au/ for more information. We would like to acknowledge Eileen Harrison who completed this painting with participants and families at Interchange Gippslands Aboriginal Family Camp in 2019.
