25.01.2022 Query just lodged with AG "Could you please advise me if the inclusion of sections 39DA-39DE will permit Ministers of Religion from belief systems not currently listed as Recognised Denominations by the AG to become religious marriage celebrants by first registering as a Civil Celebrant? Thank you in advance,... Rev. Peter Brabyn Interfaith Church of Australia"

21.01.2022 If you're feeling sad at Xmas-time, if you suffer anxiety or depression, this may help a little. This is part of my journey out of clinical depression.

21.01.2022 This should be a message everyone takes heed of. If you must take drugs, do not take this one. If you must take drugs, talk to your elders, or someone elses elders. Someone out there can help you.

19.01.2022 Happiness is the journey itself, not the destination it is almost a by-product. A by-product of Doing The Right Thing, even when that is painful. A by-product of being the best person you can be, no matter how intrinsically flawed you are. It's not enough to say I am not perfect and to settle into that identity without trying to better yourself. Doing your level-best for the moment, in every single moment, day after day, year after year, and knowing that even as you try ...for your own personal perfection you are still fallible but you are doing your best given your personal limitations, giving of your best to yourself, your sense of honour, and to the world around you (even if it's just picking up litter as you walk down the street), and being generous (with your time, your kindness and your listening-ear if you have no money to be generous with) is the way to live. Do it consistently, through time, with every intention to keep doing it even if people let you down or use you, and one day you will wake up and realise that even through your days of anger and tears, you have been happy. On my angriest days, I am happy. Through my most despondent days, I am happy. Happiness is how you live. Choose wisely. Nisaba Merrieather https://www.facebook.com/nisaba.merrieweather

18.01.2022 Give the gift of life these holidays... Did you know O- blood is suitable for transfusions to 100% of the population? Did you know you can take anyone's blood if you are AB-? Do some simple math and work out how valuable your blood is...... All blood can have platelets or plasma extracted, this can then be used in a variety of procedures for all blood types. Ask to find out more next time you give the gift of life. See more

18.01.2022 Where are we at? This gives some idea of the difficulties of founding a non-evangelical Church...

17.01.2022 YOU can make a submission about religious freedom

17.01.2022 It appears Civil Celebrants can now also be Religious Celebrants. The new section 39D amendments soon to be enacted state "A person is entitled to be identified as a religious marriage celebrant on the register of marriage celebrants if the are a registered marriage celebrant and a minister of religion. Another long past due change to this Act.
