20.01.2022 Pavers + Groundcovers can be THE BEST combination when it comes to aesthetics and practically. Economic pavers can be used at the side of your house, but a beautiful stone paver either lineal and uniform, or organically shaped and irregular, are ideal. Formed concrete can also achieve the same look over larger areas. Groundcovers need to suit sun or shade (or both) and tolerate any damp or dry areas, and they can be mixed! May faves are: Shade - Ajuga/Native Violet/Dichondra repens/Fan Flower(short lived). 04.01.2022 This site was tricky. Surrounding properties all around had much higher ground levels which meant we had to retain. Directly under fence line was going to be tricky due to large existing mature trees and other boundary issues. So I set the retaining walls off boundary and added spilling plants to hide most of the wall. Client loves it. This is 8 months growth ...
