The Northern Territory Government brokered a deal with the Federal Government and Charles Darwin University (CDU) to fly a couple of international students to Darwin. To support the students through the quarantine government has also invested in a number of initiatives including awarding 31 International Student Wellbeing grants for events and activities for students to get involved in cultural festivals, employability skills training,... social networking events, wellbeing workshops, and employer meet and greet programs. The students have to undergo the mandatory 14 days quarantine at the Howard Springs Quarantine Facility before returning to campus.
