10.01.2022 This Thursday we are holding a Celtic Holiday Fun Day to be held at IDA Studio 9:30am to 11:00am. If you would like to attend, but have not let me know, you are more than welcome to attend and bring your friends along. Just please let me know prior so that we can keep under our numbers and I can formulate a COVID attendance register. It is a free morning and we are planning fun activities such as: colouring in, warm up, obstacle course, fun games, basic Irish dancing movements, Ceili dancing, treasure hunt and food! 09.01.2022 Today was the last day of year 12 for Janee....Congratulations on your awards on Wednesday- Valedictorian and Student of the Year and three subject awards! Next year, Janee is off to ANU to study law & will be sadly missed by all of the students & teachers at IDA. Janee first started at IDA when her family moved from Canada when she was just five years old. The Emms family have been an important part of our IDA family for the past twelve years & this year is sadly their last. You will all be sadly missed Best of luck Janee in your future. You will be amazing at whatever life will bring you!

09.01.2022 What an awesome bunch!!! Our baton twirlers performed beautifully in solo & team events today. It was lovely to witness the true sportsmanship they have towards not only their team mates, but also competitors of the other clubs too & how the older twirlers help & continually inspire the little ones. Big shout out to the parents who had every IDA student dressed immaculately, with make-up done & not a hair out of place! It was a most enjoyable day. Congratulations to everyone. You all did so well!

06.01.2022 Today was Highland Exam Day! What a great day we had with our wonderful Highland dancers! Thank you to our lovely examiner Mrs Christine Shield. We really enjoyed having you back at IDA as our examiner. Thank you to Fiona for giving up her day to play the music for the dancers, to Alexandra, Courtney, Rebekah & Amy for filling in & to Annika & Matilda for being students in the teacher’s exam. Special mention to our dancers who did their first Highland dancing exam: Aviendha who did Preliminary & Eden who did Pre-Grade & especially to Miss Courtney McClanachan who did her NDAA Highland Dancing teachers exam. Good luck to all of the dancers for your results. What an awesome group!
