16.01.2022 Intelife Group Welcomes NDIS Announcement Intelife Group welcomes the joint announcement made on 12 December 2017 by the Commonwealth and Western Australian governments that Western Australia will join the nationally delivered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The announcement brings certainty to the direction for the provision of disability services within Western Australia. The sector needed directional clarity to guarantee appropriate planning and resources to ...ensure that people with disability in the State receive the best possible service. Intelife CEO, Steve Edgar, said The decision creates a certainty that will allow us to invest in the best service options rather than react to annual State budgets. We can now use our NDIS Federal experience to assist existing and prospective clients in understanding the NDIS scheme and how they can ensure that they maximise the benefits that the scheme will provide to them. We look forward to working with the NDIA as the transition progresses across the State. Intelife Group has experience with the federal NDIS operating in trial site within the State and has a strong understanding of the operation of the scheme and the benefits it can bring to people with disability. Mr Edgar said We have, over the last twelve months, developed an operating model that works within the federal NDIS scheme and we look forward to expanding that model across the rest of the State. Whilst Intelife shares the concerns the sector has in relation to some pricing aspects and that there is a need for support from the State government to build workforce capacity, the announcement now allows the sector to work actively with both the NDIA and State government to determine the correct approach to ensure the full benefits of the scheme are delivered to people with disability in the State.

12.01.2022 As customers in Western Australia have started to transition into the NDIS scheme following 1 July 2018 it is becoming increasingly evident that many customers and their families are facing problems and in many instances experiencing a reduction in support and continued uncertainty around their plans. As an organization that exists to assist people with disability in Western Australia, Intelife is concerned by the difficulties being faced by customers and their families and t...he reality that to date NDIS is not providing Choice and Control to a significant number of its stakeholders in the State. Given the criticality of the issue, the ongoing lack of clarity around the scheme operation in many areas and the frustration being felt in not being able to get answers we feel it necessary to issue a Public Statement on it. 10.01.2022 In memory of Kristy South Kristy was fearless and determined to live independently. Kristy would not allow her parents to meet on her behalf with anyone. Kristy was determined to make decisions for herself. Kristy had big plans for 2018. Kristy had a routine during the week that included visiting the West Busselton Mall three to four times a day to collect the IGA trolleys and return them to IGA, even though she wasnt employed by IGA. The staff would thank her and if she cam...e when it was getting to close to dusk the staff would let her know work was finished and that it was time to head home. Kristy would oblige and head home feeling good about the work she did. Kristy had big plans for 2018. Kristy was a character larger than life, well known in her small community often seen busking in her favourite spots downtown. Kristy strummed her four stringed guitar with gusto and energy. It exuded her personality and love for music and the arts. Kristy was not able to attend the Intelife break up party. Kristy had planned to express herself in costume at the themed Movie Star evening. We all looked forward to seeing that. Kristy was very excited. Kristy had big plans for 2018. Sadly Kristy passed suddenly on the 14 December 2017 only days after meeting with Intelife staff from Busselton and her Local Coordinator from Disability Services Commission. Kristy had made new plans to do so much more in 2018. Her life is a testament to what can be achieved and how much you can do when you have courage like Kristy. The Intelife team would like to express their sincere condolences to Terry, Helen and family. Thank you for sharing Kristy with us. Her guitar donated to Intelife Busselton will bring a lot of joy and happiness to our customers. In memory of Kristy South, Busselton.

05.01.2022 Lachlan is a school leaver transitioning through Intelifes SaFlo program. Lachlan recently attended an Autism Academy Software Quality Assurance event and was the only person chosen to have two of his photos signed by Her Excellency the Honorable Kerry Sanderson AC, Governor of WA (Patron of AASQA). The photographs then made it all the way to Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull who presented them to the CEO of BHP and the Chairman of BankWest as a thank you for their continued support and sponsorship. Great job Lachlan!

05.01.2022 An Easter message from our Intelife CEO: With the impact the COVID-19 virus is having on the way we all live our daily lives and the rapid changes we have all been required to make, the arrival of Easter hopefully provides some much needed respite. Easter is traditionally a time to be with family and to celebrate. This year even Easter will be impacted by the COVID-19 virus. The government restrictions still apply and the advice is to Stay Home and to not go out unless f...or work, groceries or medical appointments. For the safety of our work colleagues, participants, families and commercial clients it is critical that we all abide by those restrictions during the Easter long weekend. The quickest route to getting back to a normal life is to continue to rigidly follow the government guidelines. Whilst these are challenging times, the opportunity to be with family and to have a rest this Easter is one that I hope we can all take advantage of. We expect we are going to have to live with this virus for some months to come so I trust you will all take this opportunity to have a break. I would like to, once again, thank all our staff, supported employees, participants and customers for their cooperation in ensuring we abide by government restrictions, apply social distance and maintain high level of hygiene together we can keep ourselves safe. Have a Happy Easter and Stay Safe and Stay Home. Steve Edgar Intelife CEO
